Good afternoon, I hope you are having an easy Sunday. Our weather is great – partly cloudy and around 70. They are not predicting any rain this week so it must be passing to the south of us. Or the weather people could be wrong, that is nothing new!😵 In the 80’s near the end of the week.

Just finished watching our hockey game this afternoon and they lost in overtime, ugh!😫 Not the way to start the playoffs. Two more games on today so you know where I will be. Grilling some steaks today for dinner.🥩 Don’t have that too often so really looking forward to them. Throw some potatoes🥔 on and it’s like dining at a fine restaurant, yum.😋

Flowers are fine since I sprayed them, although with a lot less blooms. Have a long way to go yet so who knows.🌹🌼🌺

I see that my first note from yesterday did not make it. It’s in cyber space somewhere, out there. Oh well. I will try to remember what I said, I mean wrote. Wish the keyboard had a memory. LOL

One of the comments I made was a thank you for being you and being able to complete my thoughts with gifs and a great sense of humor. I enjoy doing the Trivia thread and I am positive you do as well. Rodney was a great hit. People do need laughter and what better way than to provide it as best you can.

Yes, I was concerned that you had not completed the post yesterday. Just as shoelady mentioned I was thinking of all sorts of things with the last one being tired from the week. The body can only take so much and then lets you know that it is time to stop and to take time to smell the roses. Glad you are OK.

The spoonbill is on his way to you. I expect everything will be great. I did some weeding today and hubby helped with clipping some of t he bushes back.. More to do, but our backs made us stop and thus we sat on the lanai watching the ducklings with their mama on the lake. So cute. But everyday, we see less and less. I surmise an animal or two know where the nest is.

Today is the bar area and the stools. Then on to the cabinets. I know they will have to be redone when we return, but at least they will look good for the people who enter our home while we are away.

here’s hoping that you have a beautiful Sunday even though it’s raining. Good day to read a book. Think I’ll grab a quick bite and then back to work.

@sheba2011, Cabaret is my favorite musical of all time. Love it! I remember my parents went to see it and came home, insisting my husband and I go back with them. I didn’t like Liza M. and they had to bring me kicking and screaming. The rest is history. That was back in the caveman days, before VCRs and recorders. I saw (and paid for) that movie 7 times. Then I bought the soundtrack. It changed my opinion of Liza M drastically. She was fabulous as Sally Boyles (I think I spelled that right). Thanks for the memories and all the other beautiful pictures you have up today.

Poppy already went to his spot in the backyard my baby got soak but that’s alright.

I am going to cook hubby a nice meal he really helped me a lot yesterday. 😘

Howdy good friend in Texas you have been missed. Hey I was missing for a bit yesterday.
I was so busy doing projects I just wanted to get them done. 🤣😜

I am doing alright today tomorrow I do have an important mammogram. OZ is really
raining hard and will be all week long. I hope we can have some rain like this in the
dog days of summer. 😎

Sending OZ wet pets to Jewell and Little D. Poppy is dry and indoors wagging his tail. 😘

Good afternoon on the Gulf Coast. 🌹😎I am feeling much better today. I just overdid
some things. What was happening is I throw out stuff to the curb for pickup then I move
and rearrange my living and dining room. It was a job. I also had other projects going
on.

I went to CVS to pick up meds and every single person including the entire Pharmacy
Staff were wearing Masks. I saw no one without a mask yesterday. 😎💕
