Club Sheba

We are still in Florida. I accomplished quite a bit yesterday. The laundry is done. I just need to clean the washing machine which has a special setting. Hubby’s back really was a mess yesterday. He could barely sit or stand let alone clear the lanai. This morning he finally said that there was no way he could drive the 400 plus miles. I was able to change the first three reservations. I will be calling on the last stay to see if we can use the $$ from the night we can’t be there for one or two extra nights next week. It actually works better in the long run.

Spoke to our neighbor and it was about to pour. Looks like they will have rain daily through Thursday. Sure sounds like the northeast is trying to be like Florida.

The plan North has changed a bit. Will go to the first house and stay overnight. Then will venture on to the Cape to check that house and turn the water on. Since we have some furniture from the other house that we can use on Cape, will take a measurement for the placement. I wish there was a way to take a picture of the things we want to keep and then see if it would fit in the Cape house. I know you can do this from a furniture store.

Enough for now. I need to put things together so it will be easy to pack the car.
