Conversation – 16

Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is
number 16 out of the series. I created and started this thread nearly 7 years
ago. I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread.
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe.

You are too funny!🤣😂🤣 Today is Monday in case you are still confused.🤣😂🤣 Guess we all live in the same household.

@Sheba, Wondering if anyone in Oz paves with yellow? It would be fun.
I know you will miss Oodie. Sounds like she had an adventure ahead of her. So many things to think about on the East Coast. We have much more consistent weather patterns. Last night it rained a little about 3 or 4 am don’t really know, but hubs woke me up for the big event.
Glad you were able to get so much house worked cleaned and cleared.
Nite all! -
Hey I think our husbands are related my hubby tells me that all the time.
Guess that’s why he has projects, 🤣
I worked so much this week to get it done that when I woke this morning I
thought it was Monday. Hubby looked at me and said no it’s Sunday.Guess what he was right. 💕😎

I wish I could fly my broom there I would get you home safely to the North.
Check in tomorrow if you and let us know if you made it out the door.
Please get some rest. 😘 When Trivia is posted I will do a shout out to Luv and Frank. I promise and if that does
not work I will make a thread and mention you.Focus on getting home to the North. Everything will work out.

Goodnight and safe travels just follow the stars until you are home in the North. 😘💕
Peace Out Peeps keep watching and stay safe. 😎😘

I am ready to tear every hair out. Yesterday afternoon I asked hubby if he felt Ok to drive. The answer was yes because the driver seat has lumber support. Today, just a few minutes ago he asked me to cancel. I had up until 4pm yesterday to do so. So we will drive the necessary miles to the first stop. Worse scenario, I will drive. The wash is done. Putting clothes away next and while doing so making a pile as to what will go to the other homes.

Yep, our husbands think alike. Mine says the same thing. Why is it they don’t go through their chest of drawers, closet, nightstand, tool box, garage, etc.. Why is it only us that donate items for someone else to fawn over and enjoy as much as we did. Men, always the first to say too much and always the last to do their share of tossing.
Thanks for all the thoughts and ideas on our trip North. Our last stop will be near you in a sense. We will spend a few days in Lancaster. Our R&R will include Gabes on Rte. 30, maybe go to the IGA Market in Earl, Pa. By the way they make quite a few of their products which include spices, teas, coffees and yummy chocolate. I purchase no sugar added for hubby. In a sense this market is a mini Farmer’s where all the veggies come from an Amish garden. Some fruit as well. I really enjoy their deli counter, but must be careful that everything is Organic or close to it. I just noticed that Gabes opened a Market. I checked it out on line and found that prices were better in Florida. And it is called a Discount Market. There is one in York and another in Lancaster.
Have a great week Give Jake a hello from me. Either the one around your heart or the canvas or both. I know he is listening. I still mourn my cat that was a talker, yet I know he is around sometimes. Still, I would love another four legged friend. Great when they enter your home, horrible when they leave. I’ve started to look for that special friend. Though, I will need a note or something saying I need a service animal to let me know when someone is at the door or the phone rings.
Take care of yourself. I will say Hi when we are up and about with WiFi. I have downloaded some jigsaw puzzles to do on Kindle. Also have books to read. Trouble with mini vacations, they end all too soon.

Please know that I will be thinking of you everyday and wondering how it is all going. Just take your time and be safe. Enjoy your few days of R & R as I know you will be getting down and dirty at the other homes. And if you get lost, just follow the north star, lol! I will be anxious to hear all about the trip. Sending halos and rainbows on every highway and bi-way.😇🌈💗

Worked long and hard yesterday and today getting all put back together. For the most part, I am done. I know my knees are done!🦵 I may move/redo a couple spots later but at least now you can walk through the family room without tripping over boxes. I want to smack my husband.👊 Instead of saying looks good, great job, he is telling me all the things I have too much of and to quit buying. You know that won’t happen, I’ll just find another hiding spot.😊
Just had a few storms pass through🌧 and getting ready to cook some chicken and rice for dinner. Hope the power stays on. I will be relaxing, for sure, this evening. Hugs to you and Poppy.🤗

Oodie safe travels and we will be looking forward to your post. I will post to you every
single day. Be well my friend I have my crystal ball out just in case. 😘😎No worries I will still mask up because it is here in OZ as well as every other State. Shizzle!

HSN TS

This may be the last post before we reach one of the homes and are equipped with wifi. Unfortunately, because of the locations of both houses in the North we can only use Xfinity. Too many trees for satellite. Telephone companies do not offer seasonal rates.
Yes, I am a busy person today. Hubby’s back is awful and there have been times during the week wondering if I should cancel. However, he is saying it is a go and if for any reason we need to stay an extra day or two, we will do so. Unfortunately, I have never driven the van because I am used to a compact vehicle. But, if push comes to shove I will do my best.
I was watching CNN for a bit last night and all of a sudden I saw lightning. A big thunder clap followed. I had time to pull the plug on the computer before we lost electricity. Had to find the flashlight for cable which also was knocked out. We had heavy rain which may have caused some flooding in the area. The storm lasted an hour or so. But everything is up and running today as if nothing happened. The lake looks beautiful.
I have one more load of laundry to do. And this one is the easiest. Will be doing the quilt for the MB. I have decided to fold the quilts up and leave them on the bed that way along with the new linens and pillows. I am debating on a new mattress cover and can easily order prior to heading South.
Please take care of yourself. I know you cannot wait to see your family in Colorado. However, watch the variants of Covid. Even with the vaccine it is very scary. The people catching this, for the most part, have not been vaccinated. But why take chances. Mask up, social distance and keep those hands cleaned should help.
If there is a hotel that has an excellent wifi system, I will send a note. Guess I will miss Connie’s show this week and oh do I love Amazonite. Hope there will be some left. So far I am enjoying everything I purchased from her line.
Walk safe with Poppy. Take care. I should be up and running sometime next week at one of the homes. Hopefully, the Cape house will be the first one. Wonder if I will need a new frig there. It showed signs of slowing down just before we headed South.
Hope to get everything accomplished before the snow flies. Talk to you soon.
Oops, forgot to mention that I absolutely love clam chowdah. However, the one I love best is the Rhode Island one that does not use cream or heavy cream. I like it either plain or the red. I will probably pick some up on our way to the Cape. Trader Joe’s makes a pretty good one. However, I have to admit I have not been to Trader’s in over a year and a half because of Covid and their wait time to get inside the store. On that note, will leave you for now. Have a great week. Hope Trivia is up and running on Friday. And if Luvsweets posts, tell her Hi from me. I do hope that everything is Ok with her daughter and grandchild. Since we haven’t heard from either her or Frank, I guess we must assume the worse.
