@Sheba, Hi Sheba, sunny Florida is filled with rain. Its almost 24 hours that’s been raining. Not complaining at all we need this rain. Thank you for all the lovely drinks tonight. Trivia was somewhat puzzling tonight, but you always make it fun. To celebrate this rainy day I make a big pot of soup, as if I need a reason 😂😂😂😋😋😋 I love soup, I can have it all the time.
Made husband a diabetic friendly flat bread with flaxseed flour and almond flour to go with the soup. For me I made a little pasta and added to my bowl of soup.
I keep puff pastry in the freezer, so I made me two apples turnovers. Also made some vanilla pastry cream. Cut some granny Smith and golden delicious apples cooked them on top of the stove with sugar, cloves,and cinnamon. Then after I had to pick out the cloves 😬😄 about ten. I know it’s a lot but, I like the taste and it’s good for you. So I placed a large spoonful of pastry cream and apples in each with each with egg wash and baked them. Turned out very delicious.
When I lived in Virginia in winter I always enjoyed an Irish coffee but, no creme de mint. Also we would always buy a bottle of Benedictine, that’s so good. Take care Sheba, have a great weekend and enjoy that extra hour.
