@ Sheba, Hi and how are you. Enjoying your yard with such beautiful fall leaves I hope. I know it’s hard work trying to pick up falling leaves. I bet Poppy likes to play with the leaves piled up.
It was a cloudy day today and on the chilly side. Well, chilly for me that’s what 34 years in Florida does. Makes my skin thin and just a little cool breeze makes me reach for a jacket. Take care Sheba.

Thank you for the nice compliment. There have been many times that people have treated me unkindly. This is the reason why I am who I am. I do enjoy when people enter our thread and have a good time. I realize also that many who join us are single and the time we are together they smile more. My mom taught me to always include the single people during holidays and also throughout the year. This is probably the one thing I try to do all year long. I also try not to take things for granted. Life is too short to dwell on past mistakes. As you know things have not been easy for me the last few months. Hubby is doing better mentally, but physically,, not too good. He has physical therapy beginning Tuesday morning, which is the only opening they have this week. Next week we have the workers for a couple of days or so. Not sure if hubby will be able to drive on his own because his sense of direction is still in outer space (he’s been like this for years, so it’s not something new).

We are once again members with Sam’s Club. Hubby was a member for many years with a very dear friend. This friend past last year in May. He was married, no children. I have been in contact with his wife, but because of the pandemic we were unable to get together. Not sure if she is in Florida since she also has a home up North. Her support is North.

Our air conditioning is now off. Temps were in the low 70s today and tonight we are expecting the mid 50s. Guess you can call it an early spring. I’m just wondering if we will see the cooler temps next month into the middle of January. Well, both of us are prepared.

I did mention last night that the State of Florida have started replacing the palm trees with other types of trees. The reason is climate change and when looking at the palm trees they only took very little carbon whereas maple, pine and others take in a lot more. They are starting this on the East coast near Miami. There was an article in MSN news during the week.
