Conversation – 16
Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is
number 16 out of the series. I created and started this thread nearly 7 years
ago. I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread.
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe.

Hello this Veterans Day to you! My baby had a birthday today. Crazy he is so old and now so are we. Went out to dinner. Walked today and it was about 90, maybe high 80’s, way too hot. Your weather is sounding great today.
Admitting i made a mistake and shipped a return back to hsn, My mistake was using a UPS label and putting the item in the USPS box. Once I figured out what I did, spoke to our mail delivery person. She said to wait it out. Well, it’s been a few weeks, my item was received by hsn. Not sure who made it happen, USPS pr UPS but am very thankful.
Have a great Friday! YAY the weekend is almost here. -
Sheba, so true, so important to have someone who gets you in your life.

Hubby did enjoy the physical therapy yesterday. A very clean area and a therapist who was great explaining things. Yes, I will be in the driver’s seat for awhile longer. The therapist thought his coordination was way off and it was my feeling as well. Yep, he has two left feet. A dancer he will never be. But at least he tries.
Yes, I am extremely tired. But it’s not from anything we did yesterday. Yes, I had a great time at the Farmer’s Market and may return tomorrow for their cranberry orange relish made by the Amish. I bought one container and should have purchased two. However, that’s not what tired me out. What did was receiving a phone call from the pharmacy stating that one of my prescripts could not be filled until January 23rd of next year. Reason being, it seems I picked it up last week. Funny, it wasn’t in the bag but it was on the slip. So, yesterday afternoon and again today I took everything out of the van and checked under the seats, in the glove compartments, between the seats, in the boxes for donations etc.. Last night I went from one room to another looking until 3 am this morning. Checked our bedroom as well and the master bathroom and the canvas bags holding both our vitamins and the prescriptions. Hubby looked this morning and afternoon. It’s no where to be found. Oh, before I forget. I picked up hubby’s meds as well and checked them when we were home. They were incorrect. But, they cannot be returned. What????? The package was never opened. So tomorrow, after the physical therapy session we will make a stop at the pharmacy and see what happens. YIKES Never a dull moment in this household. Oh yes, started on”McGee’s” closet. Never knew shelving could hold so much. More donations coming up……
If you are out and about tonight don’t forget to wear those warmer clothes. Mask up as well. Covid is on the rise again……When will this end…….Gosh Gee Whiz. .

@Sheba
Hi in OZ, chilly over there and here we had a good rain. I was going out to water my plants and it started raining. That was a good surprise for me, it had been cloudy all day long. As well as yesterday and it didn’t rain yesterday. So I thought of the same today.
I hope you had a great day. Let me know which soup you made, I am always looking for new recipes. Take Care Sheba. -
Removing Obstructions
When we remove obstructions in our path, our light can more easily come forth.
There are times when we may not feel at our best and brightest. At those times we can take a look at what we might do to let our inner light shine to the fullest. Because we are physical, mental and spiritual beings, we need to determine where our spiritual light is being filtered or blocked. We can work from the outside inward, knowing that we are the only ones with the power to dim our lights, and as we clear away the layers we can get out of our own way to feel the warmth of our own light shining again.
As vehicles for our mind and spirit, our bodies require proper maintenance. Caring for ourselves is like polishing — helping to clear away the accumulation of physical debris that keeps us from operating at our fullest capacity. A simple shift in our thoughts can positively affect our mental state, moving from complaints to gratitude and applying the powerful light of love to any shadowy thoughts. A change of scenery can allow us to see the world in new ways too.
Once we are free of our restrictions, we can become still and connect to the power at the center of our being. It is always there for us, but when we forget to connect, or siphon our power in too many directions, we cannot make the most of our energy. Starting from the inside out may direct us to take the right steps for our journeys back to the light, but sometimes it can be difficult to find the stillness if our bodies and minds are in the way. As we practice steps to keep our energy flowing freely and without obstruction, we shine our light brightly, illuminating our own paths and making the world around us glow as well. Amen! ✨
