We will eat here at home but most likely i won’t be cooking too much. Will have to wait and see.
If you are cooking, maybe start collecting the items as prices are hiking up and up.

Hello Sheba, and Happy Veterans Day to you. Hubby is off tomorrow and took Friday off too. I love soups too, even in the hot Florida Summer. It’s a feel good meal, add a salad, or a little bread makes it even better. I certainly have put on some pounds, and because of my hip I don’t get to be active. But in my younger years hubby and I would dance all night long.
I ment to mention, I too have a KitchenAid, it makes it easy to make bread and all other baking I do. Lately I have been using the food processor for granting, chopping. I use it to make pastry dough too. Take Care Sheba.

We are back from the appointment. Hubby found the place spotless and the exercise good though he was in pain following. He has exercise homework to do at home as well. I had no idea where this place was. Yes, it is on the same floor as my mam. But, as soon as the double doors open, it is right there on the left. So it is easy in and out, And yes, there is a waiting room, This therapist mentioned that hubby should not be behind the wheel as yet. Looks like I’m in the driver’s seat. He now has an appointment Friday morning and one next Monday. Actually he will be going twice a week until after his doctor appointment in December with the orthopedist. d

Yes we made a stop at the Farmer’s Market. Hubby returned to the car. Though I was there long before their closing time, they were taking items off the shelves right and left. Looks like they are getting ready for that big turkey feast. I did notice that most of their prices have now gone up over $2 from last week. And from my experience with this market is that as soon as the prices come down they will also follow the course. There new Ad comes out tomorrow. It will be interesting to see what the price of turkeys will be this year. Last year I was able to purchase a fresh turkey for $.99/lb. Can you believe that turkey day is in two weeks…..YIKES.

I see we both think alike. We have not signed up for a cruise or made a flight appointment for going North. We have yet to enjoy a movie in the theaters or gone to a live play or concert. We have gone to our Asian restaurant and the place was very clean and the attendants did wear a mask. Actually we did also until the food was brought to our t able. There are times when we really feel like going out, but then we get scared and make something home. We have ordered out for pizza, but that’s the only thing so far. We know what it is like to be ill and we really do not want to go through that again—-EVER. Will we ever be brave enough to go out and about. Probably. But not today. And, yes, we both wear our masks even to therapy. Oh, forgot to mention, I still do all my other shopping from home, Have not been to Tuesday Morning or Homegoods in over a year, That also includes IKEA, Christmas Tree Shops, etc.. Been to the wholesale clubs, but that'[s about it,

A special thanks to my bartender for always coming through!💖 My husband is a vet and we will be going to IHOP tomorrow for his free red, white and blue breakfast – that is his favorite. Texas Roadhouse is right across the street and they are giving out vouchers for a free meal so will most likely stop for that after breakfast. The vets in the ‘burgh can eat all day long with all the free offers.🤣 Tomorrow night to the hockey game.

Mom and sis are good. I will most likely head up there on Saturday. Very chilly this weekend. We will be getting your rain tomorrow evening.☔ You and Poppy be careful of any coyotes while you’re walking in the dark this evening.👀

Everyone Has a Story

Every person on this planet has a story to tell, something that makes them unique, adding to the whole.

It’s easy to forget sometimes that everyone has a story to tell if we take the time to listen. We are so accustomed to hearing the stories of people in the news that we sometimes lose track of the fact that the random stranger on the bus also has a fascinating story about where they came from and how they got to be where they are. The sheer variety of paths taken in this world, from farmers to CEOs to homeless people to world travelers, is indicative of how much we can learn from each individual. Sometimes the shy, quiet person at work has the most amazing life story and the biggest dreams, it is up to us to take the time to find out.

Some people travel a path of wealth and privilege, while others struggle with only themselves to rely on, and both have great stories to tell. Each person learns lessons, makes choices, and develops a unique perspective, which only they can claim and share. Even two people who have had very similar lives will have slightly different experiences, leading them to a different point of view, so each person remains a treasure trove waiting to be explored. When we take the time to ask questions and listen, we find that every person has a fascinating story to tell and an utterly unique perspective from which to tell it.

Bearing this in mind, we have the opportunity to approach the world around us in a new way. There is never any reason to be bored at a party, or on the bus, or in a conversation with a stranger. When we retain the spark of curiosity and the warmth required to open someone up, we always have in front of us the makings of a great story. All we have to do is ask. 😎✨

Everyone is fighting to get their lives back with this Covid-19 going around. I am frankly sick
of it. I know you will Mask up and protect you and your husband. I still live my life just a
different I don’t go in big crowds and I am not ready to eat in a restaurant just yet. Oodie
when the time is right and it’s a go all I want is a nice meal out with my husband and a great
movie. I do want to see the nutcracker I miss my live shows so much. ✨💕
