Hi Sheba, I hope your husband is feeling better. I am sure your chicken soup will make him not only feel good but, his body will have the nutrients needed to get well. If you have Anise seeds at home, it makes a great tea and or Chamomile. For a head cold the Alka-Seltzer cold is also good.
As hubby had off today, we tackled several things. I had an appointment in downtown Lakeland this morning. After that we stopped at the Dollar Tree, I wanted to get cookie tins and boxes. Also some Christmas decorations to add on the outdoor giant wreath we place above the garage. Also got some glass jars with lids, I want to make gifts for my neighbors with garlic and olive oil and maybe some herbs. I also purchased other items such as parchment paper, and other kitchen items.
Then we stopped at Aldi’s, and as always I over bought 😄😄. But everything is so fresh and delicious. I am going to the kitchen to make something to eat before Trivia.

Hi Sheba, yes, you are right. With sis home, I would be going to mom’s tomorrow but went today since we are getting lousy weather tomorrow and Sunday. Cold with rain/snow showers. We planned out some of our Thanksgiving food and who was making what.🦃🍠🍚🥧

Went to the hockey game last night and we finally won a game.😊 Long way to go and hope they get better. A good friend of ours coaches a high school football team and the playoffs start tonight so will be watching on the computer.🏈

Today’s Drink of the Week is a delicious Sparkling Apple Pie Cocktail.
This fall-inspired drink pairs perfectly with all your favorite Thanksgiving day flavors, including the brand new luxury sides from Chef Beau Mac!
Whether you’re sipping it while enjoying your turkey and sweet potatoes, or pairing it with your favorite holiday desserts, this cocktail is sure to help you embrace the fall season!
Ingredients:
• 3 oz. apple juice or apple cider
• ¾ oz. cinnamon schnapps
• ½ tbsp. honey
• ½ tbsp. hot water
• 3 oz. champagne or sparkling wine
• Cinnamon and sugar for the rim
• Apple slice for garnish
Directions:
1. Combine honey and hot water and stir until dissolved. Allow to cool before preparing the cocktail.
2. Combine the cinnamon and sugar in a shallow dish. Wet the rim of each glass with water and dip into the cinnamon sugar to coat.
3. Place apple juice, cinnamon schnapps, and cooled honey/water mixture into a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake for 20-30 seconds until well combined, and strain into prepared glass.
4. Add champagne and gently stir to combine. Garnish with an apple slice.
5. Enjoy!

I hope your son had a great birthday. ✨ Taci we are in the 30’s today here in OZ.

Yep I do have the heat on and I still went for a nice long walk I do love walking. 💕
My husband goes with me on the weekends we take Poppy of course it’s about a mile
walk in a round circle. Very nice you can see a good view of the moon and it is beautiful.

I am glad your package return made it back to HSN. Taci you temps is our summer temps.

We may have more rain during the weekend.
