Oh Sheba, I was wishing it didn’t turned into a full body cold. It’s hard to function when your body doesn’t feel well. I am glad you and your hubby are taking good care of yourselves with the Alka seltzer cold, along with soups and healthy drinks. How about that Anise Seeds, you can made a tea out of it. It warms the body, we also give (a very light version of it) to babies when they have colic. It’s a tea to help with stomach pains as gas too, and helps warm up the body. Not sure if my translation is coming through. Sheba please just take it easy for a few days, repair your strength and system. Don’t do so much, take it easy, eat and drink plenty of fluids. If you have Ginger and can make yourself some tea that’s good too. When I was young I would fill a glass with water 3/4 full with smashed several cloves of garlic let it sit for 30 minutes. Pinch my nose and drink it all, not sure if it does anything. In my twenties I had a real bad cold, lost my voice. Went to the doctors, he was Asian, told me about Ginger and to make tea from, got my voice back.

Hi and a good afternoon to both of you. Glad you are both feeling a bit better. Definitely enjoy the soup. Hope you added carrots and other veggies. My grandmother used to add garlic to the mix. Though a bit peppery, it did help with the defense. Your hubby will surely enjoy this one.

Today I am going through some things and stashing items in our den. Since the guys will be here in a couple of days, it is easier to stash things elsewhere and then pull out a box or two later. Actually, I wish I thought of this sooner, Also will take the pictures down and empty the TV stand and the bookcases. I will go through everything when the job is completed.

Hubby is doing a bit better with the knee and lower back. However the dementia is not too good today. He thought the therapy would be at home and was really happy when I said we had to take a ride to the medical building. Asked me twice what day it was. Not retaining that much today. I purchased a notebook from Amazon to list the meds he is on and the dosage along with when he takes them. I need a ruler for the listings of each. Thought there was one here and I now see I will have to purchase one. This will also help him when the time comes or for a home health aide in case one is needed. Today is not a good one. I am trying to keep it together. I am hoping this is the step backward that is needed in order to go forward. Not sure.

Well, it’s back to work I go. Just take care of yourselves and do not do anything strenuous.
