We are in TAY. This Thread is three years old.
I hope you enjoy this as it covers music, fashion and most of all
Heidi Daus. I am an Avid Collector. ♥ my focus is fashion being a former
fashion model. As a singer I cover lots of old school music and popular and
show tunes. Movies are a must. We talk about a lot of things in Conversation.

Hi Sheba! Hi Ladies! Good Morning! Hope your days are going well so far! I still haven’t been able to go back to all the pages to get caught up but I saw I missed your birthday Sheba! I’m so sorry I wasn’t on to wish you a happy one but I hope it was! Did you do anything special? I hope you had a wonderful and happy day! I used to dread my birthday because it meant getting older but my mind frame now is one of gratitude for another year! I’ve lost friends and family younger than me so life is truly a gift and every day is to be treasured! 😀 I hope you were especially treasured on your special day! 😀
My day so far has been spent playing with Bull and the older kittens, not to mention the usual routine of cat meds, feeding and cleaning. Had to take Roberto (the 19 yr. old with the stage 2 kidney disease) in to the vet the other day. He had an open sore on his neck that was bleeding. Got some antibiotics for him. Dr checked his blood and weight and found out that his kidney disease has reversed itself and he has gained back a whole pound! We are thrilled! Dr. said he no longer has to eat the horrible kidney food he hates but can mix the other cat’s food into it. Roberto is VERY happy about that! And we can go without injecting fluids once a week for about a month and see how he is doing. Things are definitely improving for Roberto! 😀
Bull is 8 weeks old now and has received his first shots 2 weeks ago. Dr said at that time he will have to remain isolated from all other cats and kittens until he is old enough to develop antibodies in his system so he will need to be isolated foe probably another month or longer. We had the front room carpets cleaned and sanitized for him and moved him in there. That room was used for the cats to watch tv! LOL! Yes, they watch tv! They love westerns, and football, and occasionally HSN! OMG I LOVE my silly, cuddly, funny, and adorable cats! 😀
The older kittens are still in quarantine but will see the vet soon and I expect that to be lifted. They all appear to be completely healthy now as none are displaying anymore symptoms – no runny eyes, noses, or wheezing. I think any sneezing has been due to the poor air quality from the fires. It’s been really bad.
More in another post in a few, seems if it gets too long it bumps me off… -

So true Sheba …. Cherie loves listening to your music picks, Words of Wisdom, and Your Galleries. It all goes together in telling Cherie about you. Cherie does enjoy reading about your day and everyone’s days too. I Love sharing a bit of my crazy day of life with you all. There is something to Spending a moment on this thread I can’t exactly put my finger on, but it’s a “highlight” of my day and I’m very glad you and ALL who read & post here feel the same. I know we would, and WILL know each other in a Heartbeat Someday ….. Now I don’t want to get too “Deep”, but sometimes I feel we have known each other a long time ago. @Sheba, Thanks for the refreshing water! Unfortunately, I didn’t see your post about posting here until I posted my second post! It takes me forever to type on my laptop, I can’t type as fast on it because my hands always accidentally hit the pad that moves other things. Very frustrating so i type hunt and peck method on it. The back pain from sitting in the desk chair on my other computer is not worth it. Such is life sometimes I guess.
I will enjoy the refreshing water, thank you! It is hot here too and smokey. I’m just relaxing today and doing some light cleaning. How is your day going? -
I am doing alright I did write to you above just dealing with things. I just came from looking
at my garden and it is beautiful. I had to water my plants cause it is sizzling here.I am having water too. LOL! I will be here off and on tonight as it is Trivia Night. 🙂

Moving In Real Time
You may want to press the fast-forward button through your pain, but in doing so you would miss out on important learning.
We all go through times when we wish we could press a fast-forward button and propel ourselves into the future and out of our current circumstances. Whether the situation we are facing is minor, or major such as the loss of a loved one, it is human nature to want to move away from pain and find comfort as soon as possible. Yet we all know deep down that we need to work through these experiences in a conscious fashion rather than bury our heads in the sand, because these are the times when we access important information about ourselves and life. The learning process may not be easy, but it is full of lessons that bring us wisdom we cannot find any other way.
The desire to press fast-forward can lead to escapism and denial, both of which only prolong our difficulties and in some cases make them worse. The more direct, clear, and courageous we are in the face of whatever we are dealing with, the more quickly we will move through the situation. Understanding this, we may begin to realize that trying to find the fast-forward button is really more akin to pressing pause. When we truly grasp that the only way out of any situation in which we find ourselves is to go through it, we stop looking for ways to escape and we start paying close attention to what is happening. We realize that we are exactly where we need to be. We remember that we are in this situation in order to learn something we need to know, and we can alleviate some of our pain with the awareness that there is a purpose to our suffering.
When you feel the urge to press the fast-forward button, remember that you are not alone; we all instinctively avoid pain. But in doing so, we often prolong our pain and delay important learning. As you choose to move forward in real time, know that in the long run, this is the least painful way to go.
