I hope you enjoy this as it covers music, fashion and most of all
Heidi Daus. I am an Avid Collector. ♥ my focus is fashion being a former
fashion model. As a singer I cover lots of old school music and popular and
show tunes. Movies are a must. We talk about a lot of things in Conversation.
Please remember this is TAY! I am still learning the new system so bear with me.

Cherie,
My heart will be in my mouth this Sunday. The next two episodes are going to have me
on pins and needles it’s the how he will leave that concerns me and what about Edith?
All I know is Negan had better not take over!!! I will leave it at that.I can smell the cookies now baking in your oven. Have fun with the kiddies. It is a rainy
day here and cloudy my labs went alright. I will not have the results until next week when
I go to the doctor. I just hope the results are what I want. I think they will be. 🙂This looks good I feel like making a small batch of raisin cookies but my mind wants this. ♥

In A Hurry
Always being rushed and in a hurry doesn’t allow time for the soul to enjoy life, which is composed of small, ordinary moments that can be beautiful.
Our lives have become increasingly fast-paced, and the effort to keep up often occupies all our time and attention. We are so busy rushing from point A to point B that we forget to enjoy the ride. We race to the store without noticing the leaves on the trees or the clouds in the sky. We go through the checkout line feeling too pressed to converse with the cashier or the other people in line. At the end of a day filled with this kind of frantic pace, we may begin to wonder what it is we do all these things for, if we don’t even have the time to occasionally stop and just take it all in.
Always being rushed and in a hurry doesn’t allow time for the soul to enjoy life, which is composed of small, ordinary moments, like watching snow fall from the sky, having a spontaneous conversation with a stranger, or lingering over a meal for several hours. Small towns and the people who live in them can teach us all a thing or two about living life to the fullest as a daily matter. City people have a tendency to think that their lives are full because they are doing so many different things, but in a small town, there tends to be more time left open to be spontaneous or take an extended moment of rest. This certainly doesn’t mean that we can’t live in a city and enjoy life fully–we can and do; it just takes a little more awareness.
One thing we can do, wherever we live, is bring awareness breaks into our day and take 10 minutes to simply look out the window and observe what’s happening outside. We might also choose to cultivate a relationship with someone we see regularly, such as a clerk at the convenience mart, a neighbor, or someone we see in the elevator at work. Taking time to have a conversation that is not necessary is a true luxury in this day and age, as is staring out the window. Participating in these acts of timelessness makes the biggest city in the world start to feel a little bit more like a small town.

“One More Night”One more night, one more night
I’ve been trying ooh so long to let you know
Let you know how I feel
And if I stumble if I fall, just help me back
So I can make you seePlease give me one more night, give me one more night
One more night cos I can’t wait forever
Give me just one more night, oh just one more night
Oh one more night cos I can’t wait foreverI’ve been sitting here so long
Wasting time, just staring at the phone
And I was wondering should I call you
Then I thought maybe you’re not alonePlease give me one more night, give me just one more night
Oh one more night, cos I can’t wait forever
Please give me one more night, ooh just one more night
Oh one more night, cos I can’t wait forever
Give me one more night, give me just one more night
Ooh one more night, cos I can’t wait foreverLike a river to the sea
I will always be with you
And if you sail away
I will follow youGive me one more night, give me just one more night
Oh one more night, cos I can’t wait forever
I know there’ll never be a time you’ll ever feel the same
And I know it’s only words
But if you change your mind you know that I’ll be here
And maybe we both can learnGive me just one more night, give me just one more night
Ooh one more night, cos I can’t wait forever
Give me just one more night, give me just one more night
Ooh one more night, cos I can’t wait forever -

Hi Sheba, Hope you are feeling better and you lab work results are good. Hang in there and hope your day gets better and have a nice day. I’m having trouble with internet and posting. if you posted me on TWD i can’t get past page one, sorry.
Hi Cherie, Thank you for the post on Jpa, i posted you there.
Hi Bichon18, deeply saddened by the loss of your furbaby Avi, sending my condolences and prayers to you and you family.
Gotta go, I have to get back to work. Take Care. -
Good Morning Sheba and Ladies! I hope everyone will have a good day.
@Sheba, hope your labs go well and you are home before you know it. Had pasta with chicken, red peppers and mushrooms last night, salad with blue cheese dressing. My daughter was able to join us and everyone loved it. Daughter has finally stopped bleeding and she was able to eat it. Had chicken soup for her just in case. She has lost 20 lbs. Going to use my slow cooker tomorrow. I love using that thing, frees up my time to get other things done and it smells so good all day long! 😀@Cherie, my AC is finally shut off and windows open. Ceiling fans and free standing fans run all the time but it is really cooling off here at night and I am noticing on our walks that some of the trees around here are starting to turn. It won’t be long now until it actually feels like fall. I use my slow cooker a lot in cooler weather but it’s great when the heat is scorching too. Usually when it’s hot it is some grilled chicken or fish and veggies and by the time it starts to cool down I am so sick of it that I can’t wait to have an oven-cooked or slow cooker meal. How is your friend at work doing these days? I’ve been wondering about her. I hope she is doing better.
@bichon, I hope you are doing ok. It takes time. Just do what you have to do for yourself and hubby to help you make it through this time. It is so hard. Everyone here is an animal lover with fur babies so we all understand. Cherie lost her beloved Simba not too long ago (early summer). I lost my Walker, Cali, Baby and Ernie this last year, and then 5 precious little kittens. It is heart-breaking to lose them, and as Sheba said, not a day goes by that you don’t miss them. I still cry. But you will get better at living with your loss. Just do whatever you need to help you grieve and do it for however long it takes. There are no rules, and no apologies. Sending hugs and prayers.
Shout out to Taci, Velvet, loaf… hope everyone has a good day. I’m heading out for my walk in a bit and then hubby and I will be busy in the back yard all day weeding, trimming, mowing, sweeping. It’s in the 80’s here. Good thing I have left-overs! 😀

These are beautiful pieces. Breast Cancer is a horror that is being fought on all fronts. Let us all endeavor to get regular examinations. This year I graduated to 3-D exams and every six months. My thoughts are with our dear Sheba’s sister and her family and, of course, Sheba herself. Stay well my lovelies. I think I found my secret club in all of you.

Great Words, Gallery, and Lovely Heidi collection Sheba. MMmm chicken, broccoli, and Mushroom soup sounds Delish!! It’s not slow cooker weather yet for Cherie in S. Cali. The Air Conditioner is still cranking but I have turned off all the ceiling fans at night. Thanks for the cute cookie decoration ideas Sheba. Now you have Hubby recalling her saying she needs an A, he’s saying Maggie and few others are too … Hmm. Thank You for being such a Supportive Soul Sheba♥ …. Take care Bishon, Shout Out to @kittengirl … Cookies for Cat & Kitten Caring Cops sounds like a Great idea, … LOAF, TACI, and ALL!
