Welcome to conversation – 15. This is number 15 of this thread.
We are in TAY. This Thread is three years old.
I hope you enjoy this as it covers music, fashion and most of all
Heidi Daus. I am an Avid Collector. ♥ my focus is fashion being a former
fashion model. As a singer I cover lots of old school music and popular and
show tunes. Movies are a must. We talk about a lot of things in Conversation.
Please remember this is TAY! I am still learning the new system so bear with me.
Blessings to you all. ♥ Happy Holidays ♥

Hi Ladies! I have an update! Pass out the cigars, balloons and lots of blessings for my new baby Grand-nephew! He arrived at 3:14 P.M.! Yay! 😀

@Cherie,
Thank you for your prayers and concern. I know you have been worried about my infection so I wanted to let you know it appears to be healing. I am still putting the antibiotic cream on it and I have a follow up appointment with my Dr. Monday. I hope you will feel better now! 😀
I LOVE watching kittens play! So adorable! I have so much entertainment around here watching the Laramie gang and Bull! Bull and the boys love to wrastle and Laramie likes to get in the kitchen cabinets and take things out! Just little kids! They make me laugh and they are so sweet and lovable! 😀 -
@bichon,
I hope you have a wonderful and memorable time on your trip! It sounds like so much fun to get away! My prayers are with you and Jerry, and the little man of course. Rest, relax and rewind…
Hope you can write us if you get the chance but if not, I look forward to hearing from you on or about the 11th. Stay safe! Big hugs and kitty hugs! 😀

Hi Sheba! Hi Ladies!
Hubby just got back from his cardiologist and the news is disturbing. Just went in for routine ultrasound and they called him in the car on his way home. There are issues with two valves that are not closing. He has more testing next Thursday. Girls, I’m scared. Why does it pour when it rains? I though today was going to be a nice relaxing day for us but here I am fighting back my tears.
On a happier note, my niece went into labor last night and I am expecting to hear their little boy has arrived any time now! My niece and her hubby are a very sweet couple, and very beautiful and handsome so I can only imagine how cute their boy will be! Daddy is stationed in San Diego right now (navy). BIL and his wife drove down to San Diego last night to be with them. Early this morning she was at 6 cm but had to be induced a couple hours later. It should be any time! 😀
@bichon18, I hope you have a great vacation! I wish I could go with you! Enjoy yourselves on this wonderful trip! I will be saying prayers for you and of course, little Ari.
I hope everyone has a great day and I sure would appreciate any prayers you want to throw my way! Thanks! Hugs to you all! 😀

God Willing, I will be back on the 11th. If I can reach you I will. I wish I could gave you my e mail.
As for the cable versus streaming. We have Comcast and we are okay. Who knows what anything might be.
Jerry put the net on our Mango tree so the crows won’t get the two or three that grow.
Almost packed and will take out I am sure.
Be well…will try to write tomorrow.
I am so glad that kitten is okay.

Cherie,
I may be cutting the cord too. Everything is going up I mean utilities and everyday items.
I can roll with the punches but the biggest jump is the Cable! Enough! I will be checking
out other offers.I will watch our show because I think this is the last show until next season. I hope it does
not leave me hanging. Shizzle if Alpha is taken out that would make my year. 🙂Cherie it seems like only a short while ago you were shopping for the kids. Time is passing
too fast. I am sure not fast enough for the Kids to get out for summer. 🙂Have a great day Cherie and The Captain. Oh we are raining here. 🙂
Almost that time. ♥ -
Grief Is Important
Grieving doesn’t have to be a process that keeps us rooted in our thoughts of fear and sadness.
Change is something that happens each and every moment in our lives. Since nothing is constant, it may sometimes seem as if we are losing something whenever things do change. Understanding that this is part of our daily existence and that there will not only be gains but also losses in our lives can help us more readily accept and deal with whatever happens.
Whenever we lose something or somebody we love, it is important for us to take time out for ourselves and truly feel the weight of what we are experiencing. Although it may seem that doing so will push us into a deeper state of sadness, truly giving ourselves permission to be with whatever arises actually creates space for us to begin the healing process. This is because the act of grieving is a natural process, allowing us to sort through the range of emotions that are present in our everyday existence. Even though it may sometimes seem easier to involve ourselves in activities that take our minds off of our sadness, this will only make the route to healing more difficult. Unless we listen to where we are in the moment, the emotions we experience will only grow in intensity, and our feelings will manifest themselves in more powerful and less comfortable ways. Once we consciously acknowledge that these emotions are present, however, we are more able to soothe the sorrow of the moment. In so doing, we become more open to our natural ability to heal ourselves.
Grieving doesn’t have to be a process that keeps us rooted in our thoughts of fear and sadness. For the moment we might feel despondent, but by expressing and coping with our true feelings, we face the sadness head-on. When we allow ourselves to accept and deal with our loss fully, we will then be able to continue our life’s journey with a much more positive and accepting outlook. This will make it easier for us to see that our grief is ephemeral and, just like our moments of happiness, it will also come to pass.
