How have you been Amy? How are Jerry and Ari? Had a scare with Pumpkin today and took him to ER vet but he is ok and his labs were good. 😀 Your friend has been on my mind and I hope she is doing ok. I posted to you a couple of days ago.

I hope Bear’s check up went well and no changes. I think no news is good news, right? Pumpkin just got home from vet and his labs went well. He has a heart murmur and gave us a real scare today. I have been crying tears of joy. He is such a good boy!

Hey, Sheba, we had the most perfect day of the year here. Sunny all day, temp about 77, no humidity and a slight breeze. It will probably be months before we get another one like today.

Going to Ohio on Friday for visitation and services. It will be a long day but that’s life. As the song says, “I will survive.” Just like you, this is the second family funeral in six months. Hope the rest of the year is better. Jake is waving a paw at Poppy.

Wow! I don’t know how you keep hiking in these places with rattle snakes! I would get a treadmill! Lol! I have a very healthy respect for rattlers! Used to see a lot of them growing up. Good thing you take a stick but too bed it wasn’t going to budge for you! I suppose you could use the stick to pick it up and toss it far away from you! I was never good at baseball so that would not be something I would personally try and unless you were really apt at it, I would forgo it too if I were you… Glad you are safe and please stay that way!

Is it hot there? It’s horrible here. Excessive heat warning AND flood advisory! Why the flood warning I haven’t a clue… odd. There are some clouds but no rain. Stay cool and safe! 😀

Sister goes into surgery early in the morning. I am anxious for it to be over.

Glad to hear you are fine and didn’t feel it! I HATE earthquakes! I have been in several bigger ones! 4 will get your attention but the big ones scare the you know what out of you! I remember the one in San Francisco during the baseball game at Candlestick Park! We lived in L.A. area at the time and felt it all the way down there! It was 6.9. I also felt the big Northridge one here where I live and it woke us up out of a deep sleep. I can’t imagine being where the epicenter was! The Northridge quake was 6.7. Where I live doesn’t seem to be prone to the earthquakes but we sure feel them even when they are far away. Nothing like being there though and I have plenty of memories from the Sylmar – San Fernando quake (6.5), and the Whittier quake (5.9) when I lived there. I have felt some of the coastal ones here where I live now and have had things knocked off my shelves and walls, but nothing as scary as those bigger ones. What worries me sometimes is the active volcano near Yosemite (near where I live). I think each number the quake goes up in magnitude, it increases by 100%. I could be wrong. Maybe someone else out there knows (maybe Cherie or Taci). Anyway, I have taken a long time just to tell you I HATE earthquakes. Love rock and roll but not THAT kind! LOL!
