IT'S FRIDAY NIGHT. TRIVIA TIME. NOVEMBER 11, 2022
“Veterans Day wasn’t always called that—and it has to do with how the holiday got started. Veterans Day can trace its origins back to November 11, 1919, the one-year anniversary of the armistice that ended World War I. President Woodrow Wilson declared that day “Armistice Day.” In 1926, Congress passed a resolution to make it an annual occurrence.”
Questions can be found in the Rewards Store within the Arcade, And begin between 8 pm and 8:05 pm DST depending upon your computer clock. There are six questions during the game. The last question is posted between 10:30 pm and 10:35 pm EST. Again, depending upon your computer clock. Each question lasts approximately 30 minutes, so you will need to come up with the correct response within that time frame. If you answer incorrectly, you will see a red “OOPS.” The incorrect response will not count against you unless the time is up. Each correct answer is worth 200 tickets to use in the Rewards Store against the Featured or Current Sweepstakes. So, before you tear your hair out, before you give up, just return to this thread where one or more of us will be able to help. Also, join us in light conversation, ideas or whatever and LET THE FUN BEGIN….😀😀😀🍕🍔🍟🌭🌭🍿
NOTE; Sometimes a little gremlin will pose a question that requires a number. In those instances it may not accept for example 16. It’s the correct response, but you may need to spell it out: sixteen. Other times there may be a two word answer such as: Happy Birthday. Happy Birthday may need to be written as one word: Happybirthday. There are also times when the answer is a plural even though the question seems to reflect something that isn’t. However, sometimes it is easier to check this thread for the correct response.

You are very welcome. SIRI is being helpful tonight.
-
I can’t believe I have never thought of doing that. Thanks for the tip.
-
Make your technology work for you. I haven’t figured out how to make my Amazon Fire do the same.
-
Yeah, I can’t help with that. I’m all apple.

Oodiebom, it rain here too, actually tually stormed. I looked out of the patio door it looked like a mini Tropical storm today.
-
Be careful and stay safe. ✨
-
I cannot say we had the torrential rain like you had. Just heard it on the roof. Didn’t want to look out anymore. Finally heard from the insurance company. The answer was better than expected. Now will e-mail the contractor and get things moving when possible. A letter will be forthcoming in the mail and this will tell us more about the coverage.

You are such a smarty pants. 🙂 Thank you!
Hi everyone. All is good. I’ve been here hanging out in the nosebleed section.
-
I have been so worried about you. Thank god you are alright. .✨✨🌹
-
I am now 100% cancer free. I’m still taking aromatase inhibitors and have 2 and 1/2 years left. I’m back to yearly mammograms now. I’m sorry I worried you. I injured my wrist back in September and typing kills it.
-
I have the 3D Mammo and all the doctors next month. I will let you know how I do.
I think I will be just fine. 🌹🌹I am so happy for you it has been a lonely journey.
-
3D for me too. My next one is at the end of this month.
Everyone-Find out if you have dense breasts. Density has nothing to do with how they feel. Think of the difference between looking through jello compared to looking through pudding. Dense breasts mean that cancer is harder to detect. In Colorado, a law instructs providers to inform patients of their individual density status. And if you have dense breasts, you can get a 3D mammogram without additional charge.
-
Thank you so much! I will request the 3-D type on Monday.🙌👌😊
-
Great DEFG. I tell everyone I can about this.
I had an aggressive type of cancer, but because I caught it at the earliest moment, it hadn’t become invasive. I never felt bad or had any lumps. One year clear Mammo, the next Duct cancer. The 3D mamo made all the difference. I still had to have two lumpectomies and a month straight of radiation, but fortunately no chemo just Aromatase inhibitors(estrogen blockers). I have absolutely no family history of BC and no real risk factors for it. I tell everyone I can because I believe it will save lives.
So find out, ARE YOU DENSE?
(meaning your breasts of course)
-
Thanks I had that but with a space in between.
-
Good job @sheba I wasn’t anywhere close. I would have had to google it.

Good evening everyone. Happy Veterans Day. For those who served, for those who are in active duty I thank you.
-
Hi xango. It is raining here.
-
-
Have you been able to get your repair work done yet, Oodiebom? I hope so.
-
Hi pbjelly. No repair work done so far. I have contacted the insurance company AGAIN because there may be structural damage to the den. I do have a construction company that gave us a
quote, but they will not be available for at least 6 weeks. Meanwhile, added trouble. Nicole took some more of our roof which also housed the wiring tor the lanai and shed. Luckily there is no poser in that location. The electrician will not work on that area until the roof has been taken care of. So far I have heard nothing from the claim adjustor. Left several messages. No return phone call.
