Hope you are all ready for some fun. For the newcomers, the questions can be found in the Rewards Store within the Arcade. Questions begin between 8 pm and 8:05 pm EST. depending upon your computer clock. There are six questions during the game. The last question is posted between 10:30 pm and 10:35 pm EST. Again, depending upon your computer clock. Each question lasts approximately 30 minutes, so you will need to come up with the correct response within that time frame. If you answer incorrectly, you will see a red “OOPS.” The incorrect response will not count against you unless the time is up. Each correct answer is worth 200 tickets to use in the Rewards Store against the Featured or Current Sweepstakes. So, before you tear your hair out, before you give up, just return to this thread where one or more of us will be able to help. Also, join us in light conversation, ideas or whatever and LET THE FUN BEGIN….:)

Alive and well in Des Moines Iowa after the worst storm ever recorded here, a derecho. This has been compared to a hurricane over land. Also described as the world’s worst tornado. It cut a swath 40 miles wide and hit most of the state from west to east with top winds of over 140 mph. Tree loss is horrendous plus a lot of damage to home and buildings such as schools and sports arenas. I was very lucky with very little tree damage at my home.

obedjudge I read about those storms on line this morning. Never ever heard of a Derecho until today. I thought there was a crane accident until I read further. So sorry about people losing trees and homes and feel for those who loss family members and friends. Glad you are OK.

Wow, Sami, glad they have passed. Sanibel is expecting a massive storm this evening. Hope she has a radio or television on. I do not like the color of her sky right now.

Fbn, that frosty looks good. Can’t remember when I had one last. When I lived in Washington, D.C. in the summer we would to Maryland to eat crab and drink a cold beer at crab fests.

OODIEBOM how are you? We been having showers, lots of lightening and big thunderstorms almost everyday.

We had a good shower with thunder and lightning yesterday. I have enjoyed those streaks of lightning. Yesterday there was a triple, but not close to one another. There was one that went straight across the sky. But the sunsets……..gorgeous.

Hello, Oodiebom, yes it went fast. I got my new gate installed and it looks fabulous! My neighbor had built one for himself and I asked how much to build another (I’ve been pricing them for about 4 years). He only charged me for materials and threw in the labor for free–I am so grateful! I hope your time in Florida this summer has been good, despite obvious hazards.

Actually, I have enjoyed this interlude. I often wondered what the summers were like in Florida and they are no different from what we have in the Northeast, though the humidity does get up there in Florida. Of course if we were in the Northeast I would be complaining about the heat and no air conditioning except in the master bedrooms. As far as marketing goes, it really is a delight to shop in Florida. Native everything where back in the other direction a miracle if you find native tomatoes.
