Year Old Outstanding Flex Pay
Yesterday, while placing an order, something I had not done in months, I noticed the address I wanted to send the gift to kept changing to an incorrect address. I called customer service and was told I could not place the order due to an outstanding flex pay of $9.99 from June of 2024. This despite the fact that two flex pay orders were successfully placed and billed in November and December of 2024 without incident or my being mailed or emailed to make me aware.
The first customer service rep I spoke to did give me the information but the second was very nasty and accusatory, indicating that I should know better since I agreed to pay. Both indicated that the charge was in collections and that I would need to call to rectify the issue. I am not entirely sure how it would be in either of our interests to not inform me of the issue for such a small amount. Had I been be made aware or stopped once that next order was placed, I would’ve addressed the issue. The method of payment was the same.
Everything happens for a reason. Thanks HSN!
