Flex pay denial..still charged.
Long story short well kinda lol.. I wanted to use flex pay I was denied but still charged. After reading countless post from shoppers like me, I decided to call to ensure the charge was reversed immediately and not the long wait as others experienced. Customer service rep assured me she requested that my bank release the funds on hold and also stated that the reason for denial was because my bank would not preauthorize future payments. She kept interrupting me when I was trying to get a clear understanding for denial. Eventually I asked to be transferred to a supervisor. After waiting maybe 10 mins I was transferred to the sweetest and most helpful person ever. She submitted the request to my bank to release funds(that the rep told me she had already sent..that was a lie lower reps do not have access to send immediate request), let me know my bank accepted the request, and gave me the reference number for this acceptance. Within the hour I receive a reversal of debit card purchase although the original transaction is still pending.. I have access to the funds. Not sure if it is a bank bonus(USAA) but kudos to this supervisor for the best customer service ever. ADMIN if you can find out who this kind woman was… Please use this as a praise report for her excellent customer service!!
