A Letter to Our Valued HSN Family
From Stacy Bowe, President, HSN Brand & US Merchandising
Dear HSN Family,
I hope this letter finds you well. As you may have heard, after 48 incredible years calling St. Petersburg, Florida home, HSN is embarking on a new adventure. We are relocating our operations to our corporate headquarters in West Chester, Pennsylvania, already home to our sister brand QVC. We will complete this move at the end of June.
Let me be clear: The HSN you know and love is not going anywhere. While our address is changing, the fun is here to stay. We will continue to take you on a journey, where you can embrace the new, celebrate your uniqueness, find special products that enrich your life, and of course, have tons of fun. We will continue to offer a lively, entertaining mix of hosts, celebrities and industry experts.
This move gives our team access to world-class studios and cutting-edge technology, so we can keep making your shopping experience better. We’re investing to bring you a wider variety of shows and videos in more places – including TV, social media, streaming, our own website and app, and others – more seamlessly than ever before.
Our most popular HSN programming will continue uninterrupted – we can’t wait to celebrate our 48th Birthday with you in just a few days, and we’ve got lots more fantastic events coming up! Many of our beloved hosts — Sarah Anderson, Debbie Denmon, Adam Freeman, Nicole Hickl, Tamara Hooks, Tina Jennings, Emily Lampa, Ty Mayberry, Callie Northagen, Suzanne Runyan, and Siaoming Wong — are making the journey with us to Pennsylvania, so you’ll see plenty of familiar faces, and we’ll introduce some new friends as well. Our commitment to bringing you innovative products, captivating content, and unforgettable moments is unwavering.
Thank you for being part of our HSN family. Your loyalty, enthusiasm, and trust have been the foundation of our success for nearly five decades. We can’t wait to continue this incredible journey with you from our new home. Here’s to the next chapter of the HSN story—one we’ll write together!
With gratitude and excitement,
Stacy Bowe

Thank you for your letter to your customers a bout HSN’s move to PA.
However, I am not a fan of many of the new hosts. A lot of the new hosts don’t seem to have the
training or experience to sell what they are showing. On the other side, the hosts (mostly QVC) who have been with the company forever, are just as obnoxious as the new hosts. When Mary Beth Roe (a class act) left QVC, that told me something…Change wasn’t going to be good.
Shawn Killinger, Kourtney Khondavi, & Jane Tracy are the worst for talking over brand reps, interrupting brand reps, etc., etc., & proving to me they have BIG egos. I also notice QVC doesn’t pair these 2 with hosts that are classy. I feel the same way about some of the hosts at HSN. What is also irritating at both networks is the constant “let’s go over colors”, & then there’s the comment, “over (name the number, which I don’t think is true), sold in this presentation”. Who cares. I don’t believe there’s that many people watching & ordering, across all technology platforms. I am also noticing younger & thinner models. Your demographic isn’t that young or thin. It will be interesting to see how the merger evolves & how many of the brands both networks represent, stick around. -
I’ve been a customer since HSN’s inception (48 years). I hope this move can help save on overhead costs as we face a changing society with streaming and less cable TV usage. Originally customers held the choice to pick up at a local location or pay for shipping. I still own the first item I purchased (a gold ring, 14k that at the time I purchased for much less than it would cost today). Hoping HSN and QVC continued success after the closure of ShopHQ. Recommend Tik Tok and facebook videos promoting HSN/QVC and what about American Shopping Direct (or something similar) for a name change with QVC and HSN combined? Maybe pick up ShopHQ’s sellers (they had great products). Overhead and cable TV issues is a difficult hurdle. I have degrees and understand these hurdles. While ppl get rid of expensive cable TV, prices go up to businesses and consumers. Best wished.

So, do you think the president of HSN will even read these comments??????
I have been reading some of the other comments and most of them express how I am feeling!
I have shopped with HSN for over 30 years and I have a house full of items that I often do not use.
To start, When you let Shannon Smith go!!!!! That was one of your biggest mistakes for HSN. She was wonderful and everyone loved her. I would buy items just because she presented them or she would say she used them!!!! It has not been the same without her!!!!
Amy Morrison!! What can I say! She is another host that made it real and also fun!!
In tagging on to some of the comments, a couple of the new hosts get on my nerves. I will not watch them even if I would like to hear about the product. Talking over the GUESTS on the show is just downright rude. Why have the guest on to talk about their product, if the hosts are going to do all the talking!!!
I love HSN and it’s always been my favorite shopping site, but I am turning it off more and more now. Nothing looks real and nothing feels real. It all looks fake!
I am sorry for being negative nancy, but I just don’t like your presentation or some of your hosts!
Maybe it will be better???? We can only hope.

I’m sad because I know it won’t be the same. I noticed you didn’t mention Bobbie as moving.. The only older host is Callie, which I love. I hope this doesn’t mean HSN isn’t getting faized out. ShopHQ just closed out this year. I like QVC & buy a lot from them, I do not like all their host Jane Treacy is one – talks tooo much. Just hope HSN doesn’t change by the big mega shopping network. PLEASE DON’T
-
Good luck with the transition. I’m a long time shopper of both HSN & QVC. My question is, I love seeing the clothing on Kenya and Ingabor (sp) and Dogmara (sp). Were any of the models asked to make the move? If not, I think that was a huge mistake and I feel badly for them because they were exceptional.
-
Wishing the network the best of luck as they transition to their new pa home. I am sure you will continue to bring us a wonderful customer service experience. looking forward to all that both QVC and HSN have to offer. welcome to the PA HSN host and families.

I agree with a number of the opinions expressed about some of the presentations from the “new” location. Some of the hosts are downright rude to the brand representatives. They cut them off asking inane questions.
The models need to be more diverse in sizes, shape etc.
I was watching a Marlawynne show and the models weren’t wearing the proper sized clothing. The clothes were pulled and wrinkled because they were too small for them. Don’t you have any models who aren’t a size small? -
This is just another way of weaning out the great older hosts and hostesses! You’ve already gotten rid of great QVC hosts and hostesses like Caroline, Dan and Kirsten to name some! Yet you keep that God awful Jane Treacy! Now Guy is gone, too! What is wrong with you! This won’t fix all the problems you have between QVC and HSN! Anymore the only thing I purchase from either are the Andrew Lessman supplements! The person or people that make the ridiculous decisions are not doing what is best for the corporation or brand!

Lol I cant stand Jane. Courtney was gone so long they hired that black haired replacement right before she came back and its just weird with them both now. I used to like Courtney but now I just stare at her fake long nails and what looks like too much makeup and plastic surgery. Her hair needs to be trimmed or changed up. Reminds me of a plastic stepford wife.
-
Yeah, Tracey needs to retire. I turn the channel when she starts running her mouth about her daughters. She is a braggart.
-
-
I hope SCA stays !
-
HSN has always been my “go too” place for online shopping. When companies merge it is never the same. As Airline crew I can assure you, a merger means tension. It will be difficult for the employees on both sides. I wish them all the best. I do shop both networks, but am a bigger fan of HSN. For those who decided to stay behind, all the best to you! For the ones who move, best wishes.

I never could stand SHOPPING WITH QVC the worst customer service I’ve ever encountered, been a client of HSN SINCE 1978. When HSN joined QVC I was hesitate to remain a customer NOW that your moving in with them.. WE WILL SEE..
MY OPINION BAD MOVE..
-
Theyve been owned by the same company already for a decade, its not that different.

I wish HSN and QVC luck. It’s a tough business. It’s either this or closing down probably. The nature of business all over is changing and we better all it up, like it or not. I’m hoping that the prices stop rising, and becomes more affordable. The economy is turning around, so we’ll see if that matters. There are some products I really like and will continuing shopping the sales and specials. Let’s make shopping tv great again!

I have been an active customer of HSN from the days when the largest size they sold was a 2X and it didn’t fit me to the days when they started 3X to 5X. I really needed to see plus size models to know how the clothing would look on me. After surgery and illness, I am now a size 8-10 and I still like to see the clothing on people who look like me. I also loved the Outlet Stores – when one was in Illinois – and there were 5 in Central and South Florida. I once drove to Pennsylvania to go to several QVC Outlets and the only clothing sold was damaged. It was interesting to see the differences between the HSN and QVC Outlets. I hope you continue the Outlets. In Florida. I sincerely hope that HSN will not disappear or be incorporated into QVC. I can picture the new name:
HSNQVC: How Sad Now Quizotic Value Chaos!
But I will continue hoping both companies can coexist., -
I don’t think relocating is going to fix HSN’s shipping problems. Items sit in “packaging” for DAYS. You won’t ship and we can’t cancel. It’s incredibly frustrating and shows a complete disregard for your customer base. We are NOT your “valued family.”
-
Amen and it taking 3+ weeks for returns to get credited if they arent lost at all.

Thank you, Stacey. I spend a lot of money with HSN and truly enjoy shopping using your platform. I look forward to the potential advances your move to PA may provide.
I would like to take this opportunity to comment on 2 themes rampant in the replies to your post.
First, the FL models had a following similar to the hosts. As an older plus size purchaser, I always made my selections based on how items looked on Kenya. The few models I have seen so far in PA have represented only one demographic & if you don’t invest in the same quality of models you had in FL, you will lose me as a shopper.
Also, I know your hosts’ job is to sell, but insincere constant chatter is an immediate turn off, especially when they railroad guests – it is hard to watch. I immediately turn off Emily Lampa with her constant “my friends”. Please have hosts like Callie work with your newer hosts, as she can sell without being a mindless, insincere motormouth.
Appreciate your consideration of my concerns & continued best wishes with the transition.
