Shipping Charges a NO GO
I have been an avid craft shopper on HSN for many years but recently with the removal of the all day shipping charge of $5 even with the perks in the kits I can get the items cheaper elsewhere with free shipping. It isn’t worth paying shipping on each item that I purchase if I purchase elsewhere with free shipping I actually get a better deal and can purchase more. Very disappointed in HSN and QVC and the choice to change this. A little greedy if you ask me.

I find when I am deciding to purchase an item, shipping is a deterrent to purchasing an item.
Free or combined shipping holidays create positive purchases. Every since the restructuring under the QVC HQ, HSN has seen higher shipping costs.
It’s a shame.

Today only, there was a $20 off a $99 order with HSN card using code 185066. My shipping for 4 items came to $18 so the $20 at least helped with that.

I agree on the S&H issue. My days of buying craft things (or anything for that matter!) on HSN are done because of the ridiculous shipping charges. These days my crafting dollars need to stretch a bit and HSN is no longer shopper friendly. Like others here, I’m not even watching today’s craft shows which is a 180 degree change for me. I used to watch every minute, but no more. HSN, you’ve lost me as a customer thanks to your S&H policies.

I am not a crafter, but I have stopped buying shoes due to &5.50 shipping charge for each pair. HSN puts one pair in a large box and fills the remaining space with air bags. Last month I purchased a number of clothing items on lines HSN was dumping. I spent about $60 for the clothing and close to $20 for shipping. The whole bag probably weighed less than one pound!
The final insult is that QVC had free shipping one day last week. I just don’t understand HSN’s pricing policies with regard to clearance. Anything leftover from Spring and Summer 2019 should be 50 to 60 per cent off or more. If they want us to buy the new items, they should get rid of the old stock. Also, I hate the concept of “As-Is”. If I wanted used or sub-standard items, I would shop at thrift stores. Thanks for letting me vent!-
I’m not a crafter either. But I do purchase jewelry and shoes along with some clothing. A few months back I decided to look for shoes elsewhere and found the same shoes for half the price of HSN and also no shipping charge. Most of the jewelry I also purchase elsewhere and found that they are not only less expensive but the settings, stones and packaging are of a better quality as well. I’ve been shopping with HSN almost from the beginning. To say I am disappointed, is an understatement.

I agree. I haven’t even watched a craft day since they changed the shipping policy. I used to watch every minute of the craft shows and purchased many many items…no more. Actually I don’t purchase anything from QVC or HSN anymore unless the item has free shipping.

The same exact thing with me, with the exception that I had a multiple use coupon a couple of months ago that more than paid for or almost paid for the shipping, so I bought a few things then, but I would rather spend my money elsewhere where the prices are usually lower and the customer service people care about putting things right if and when the occasion arises and perhaps most importantly where I feel like I and my purchases matter because I certain!y don’t feel like a valued (former) hsn customer. I reckon they must think that there are plenty more where I came from,so they don’t need all the money I used to spend with them, and it was a lot, easily several hundreds every craft day. Now I spend nothing and haven’t watched it since before March.
