Tru Hair! What a mess! Color WAY off!

So decided to get the Tru Hair in the NEW light blonde because first time I bought it in the old blonde the brassiness of the blonde was so off base. My hair is an icy blonde and the minute I used this my scalp looked like a sunflower! It was so yellow! No way will this work as the host claims in platinum or light blonde shades. Add to that the powder all over my sink, falling on my clothes and no thank you!
I sent it back the first time and it is going back AGAIN. When the hosts lie about a product which seems to be a regular thing now here on HSN we shouldn’t have to pay for shipping to return the item. So sick of the misrepresentation. No wonder they didn’t show anyone using the new color! I found that weird! if you come out with a new color show it in action! I now know why they didn’t! Shame on them!

I had the same problem with the previous blonde color not matching my light blonde hair at all. It looked orange to me. I have now let my long hair go gray and I have to say, the TruHair in gray is fantastic. It’s disappointing to hear they still have not perfected the light blonde.

I like Clairol Natural Instincts, it’s wet and simple to apply, washes out after a certain number of washes, but I’m a brunette. I don’t know about the blonde shades.

  I’ve been using it for over 8 years. I don’t want to use anything permanent. I’ve never washed it out because I keep using it before that happens. This doesn’t have ammonia in it. I wish I could remember the name of something I tried before this. It was a famous brand. I hated it. I couldn’t wait to wash it all the way out, and it was supposed to stay on for 45 minutes. This is much quicker. I usually leave it on for about 15 minutes and love it. I wish I would have started using it long ago.
