New hosts are really fast and loud

I’m not going to nick pick the hosts. But I don’t know why the rapid speech and loud voices are necessary. Watching tonight I heard the vendor say politely let me talk now. I just hope the directors or whomever can take these issues seriously.

I tried to watch Bellezza today and even though the wonderful paul woods was his usual beautiful self the host clarke wolfe I believe was so annoying the way she talks slow and making sure she speaks each word c o r r e c t just could not handle it, poor paul. I love watching paul and colleen Lopez they are so fun. where is she anyway I hope shes not going away too.ugh

Not a fan of Siaoming…I turn the channel everytime I see her on. I can’t stand how she enunciates every word and the “as well” after every sentence… I know that’s sound critical but it’s how I feel. Which is why I turn the channel. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Lovely Siaoming –

Chatters loud at a mile-a-minute….
I listen to her and her voice reminds me of a run on sentence. No inflection up or down, no true pause.
She will settle, she’ll get more relaxed, more comfortable and hopefully take a breath.
I watch her shows on mute until there’s an item I’m interested in. I think given time the newer hosts will succeed. I cannot imagine that job is easy, The long time hosts make it look simple, but I doubt it is.
The vendor may have taught a valuable lesson to the host, and if heeded might just be the thing they needed to remember. That is to say, the vendor plays a role too – let them.

  So true about the speech of a host. I stopped watching Rebekah because she used yep so many times. That is so not classy.
  Since the new hosts started, I’ve pretty much stopped watching HSN. It’s been easier than I thought.
  People said give them time. After 6 months I haven’t seen improvement. So sad.

  I am unable to watch Siaoming due to her rapid-fire speech and saying “Right” at the end of every other sentence. I wish the producers would explain how important the voice is when you’re in front of an audience. Also, how the use of filler words such as “like” and “right” will lose an audience.

  I am unable to watch Siaoming for long. The run on sentences, and rapid speech are annoying. I often wondered when was she going to take a breath. I agree that it is not an easy job to do. She is probably not aware that she is doing it. With that been said I like her personality,
