Since Diane turned over creative director to Sam clothes are horrible
-
Please Sam – not Sarah! That gal talks SO fast, it’s very annoying. This is a case where just a show host is all that’s necessary.

I agree with Sherryrose. THe DG2 fir for jeans varies each time I have purchased them. Today I received a letter from the President of HSN regarding returns. They will no longer waive return shipping & handling unless the item is defective or broken. By the time I receive my order my size is sold out! So, I won’t be buying clothes anymore. When the host tells you to order two different sizes you know there’s a problem!

donahda Isnt it pathetic that due to sellers errors, primarily I think due to mfg. cheap in china, we get letters of warning. Sickening, huh? A blessing for me, actually, as I realized bein’ an old gal all friends gone, was spending way too much time & money late nite shopping. Whew. Now am doing other things, with music plaiyin’ vs tv, & savin $ & feelin good. Dunno how to p.m. on here. If u do & desire to do so, write to me.

I agree about the shipping. It is going to be too expensive to order anything, especially if you need to return something. HSN like so many billion-dollar companies rather see the customer lose than them. They will probably lose a lot of customers. and they will probably raise shipping costs as another shopping channel did. Especially with DG2 and they fit you will need to return some things.

I adore Sam and Sarah. Sam explains really well how fabrics and designs work together and I think the line has improved. I have at least 90 pairs of dg2 and many many tops. I will continue on my dg2 journey with glee.
-
Your closet must look like mine though I hope not as messy. I, too will continue to shop DG2 with glee! Looking forward to what’s coming on Mother’s Day…new looks/styles, whatever, I’ll be watching a good part of the day.

I do care Who Is presenting the line as I want someone who knows what they are talking about….Sam does. And yes I’ve bought and have a closet full of Dg2 jeans. It took me awhile before I bought her first jeans and they did fit perfectly. Now everything has soooo much stretch in it making it hard to know sizing. For me, a chubby great grandma of 79, a 14 in VS and 16 in New stretch seems to work. I have many other brands from everywhere and same problems exist . Sorry you have had such terrible experience. 😔

Yes, Sam does explain the descriptions of clothing well. However, Sam, you need some new shoes. Those things you wear look like platypus shoes! Update yourself please.

Perhaps he has very large feet. 🤔

I am 72, purchased dg2 since she began, however, as u said must order different sizes in different fabrics/cuts. Was a big shopper as I live in jeans. However, having many returns hsn gives a warning no more free swaps. Ha. Pisses off a fat old Polack!! So, let my fingers do the walkin & found jeans -petite-at less than half the price. Only issue now is often sold out quickly.

I certainly do not care WHO is representing the product line. I care about the quality and fit. From her 1st visit @ HSN I purchased dg jeans. WOW! They were awesome. Phenomenal fit, and the quality unsurpassed. ie studs etc were set in not iron on. No rubber transfer thingys like cheap t shirts. Still have & wear some of originals from 20 yrs ago. Think perhaps positive comments are from ladies who never knew what her original quality was . Now? UGH. Have moved on. As often occurs in our world folks become successful/famous & that is when they get greedy & the quality goes down. Just sad. Oh well, found new up & coming designer – awesome- probably till they become a millionaire then their quality will go down as well.
-
Also Sam is cool while describing everything. No push, push, you gotta get this now, buy one in at least 2 colors. True professional at presenting the products without overselling Sam makes spending hours watching fashion pleasant and entertaining. Yay Sam!!!!
-
I totally disagree with that statement. Just the opposite with Diane’s aging and health issues having Sam on board is the best thing to happen with the line. Sam’s been in the business for years, knows his fabrics & styles as well as what’s out there on the real runway. Right now Sam is the best thing to happen to DG2.

I myself see nothing new i would buy…I bought 2 pairs last year on clearance love them and just bought another pair on clearance tonight with the fray hem.In dec or jan bought a pair of newer ones and returned because they fit weird…I had no idea Diane was gone till my mom told me and she was not happy because she to returned several new pairs because of not fitting right..With the new one i will have 6 pairs of jeans that i hope will last me a long long time because i have no clue what other brand to try…Been wearing these for yrs now…..Wish Diane all the best.

I so agree. I used to buy her clothes, especially her jeans, but I have not seen anything worth buying in ages. The styles are tacky and the fabrics cheap. Such a sad end to a once great line.

Interesting that originals from so many years ago are wonderful-still have them. But recent, ugh, glued on “stuff”found in bottom of washer, etc. Recent ones are trash. Oh well. We move on, right?

just curious if u purchased jeans from many years ago. Awesome, werent they? I recall a few years ago diane was on hawking her “each one hand painted jeans”. So pretty, but expensive, however so beautiful I ordered them. OMG they arrived & it was a rubber iron on thing. HOLY COW. First time in my life I was so furious I went to her site-everywhere complaining. All was deleted!!! So much for AMerican freedome of speech. HSN even deleted the recording of her saying all were had painted. Have not purchased since. She went too far for me. Especially hearing from friends that all the new different types of stretch are so ill fitting that the women say they must order several different sizes each time she invents a “new” type. Too much aggrivation waiting for pkg delivery. Used to be exciting. Nah, moved on long ago.
