Having read your thread over some years now, I know you are no Debbie Downer. You are a really strong person and on top of that a Leo with passion and experience.
Your thread is so very important to many of us, and you inform us on lots of items we may want to purchase. As for myself, I have purchased many of the items you bring to our attention. I don’t necessary comment on everything I buy here.

What happened yesterday was dramatic, let alone having your husband and son attending the function is very upsetting. You need time to get back your thoughts, and nerves the way it was before give yourself time.

Family in Brazil are well, Carnaval has ended and Lent has stated. Don’t remember if I told you, I have a cousin that’s a priest. He’s in his fifties, he has studied and lived in Italy for several years, went back to Brazil several years ago. I met him in Brazil back in 2009.

Another cousin that is also evolved in the Catholic church. She works with children, gives lessons and teaches.
My niece, the mother of the one who still start college soon, she also is evolved in the Catholic church. However, she works full time and volunteer her time to the church some evenings and Saturdays.

Well looks like we here are going to get some cool days and chilly nights next week and then warming up again.

Hello Taci, I hope you had a good weekend.
Thank you for your kind words the other day. Hubby and I met on February 9th, and a year after a half later we got married. Spent most of our years apart, hubby was in the Navy for close to 30 years.

Wow! Talk about pins and needles, congratulations to your home team.
It was a great game, and for a moment I thought your team was not going to win. They came from being a little behind and history was made, twice in a roll.

I am glad your daughter is well, may she continue to be well and safe.

Family in Brasil are as well they can be. My niece’s daughter that’s in college had to be rushed to the hospital due to kidney stones. And is going thru that now, having doctor’s appointments etc.

My nephew and wife just purched an apartment. He said he no longer wants to spend his weekends working on yards and taking care of a house. So they are moving from a house into an apartment, with more bedrooms for the kids and less work.

And another niece, who raised her daughter alone. Her daughter is starting college in the end of this month, which we will be helping with her tuition.

Our niece here in the USA and neighbor across the street are all well now.

Good Afternoon Sheba,
It’s a warm 71 degrees right now and it went up to 77 today.

That’s a nice afternoon’s coffee spread, and just right to celebrate 39 years hubby and I met in Alexandria, Virginia. It was a Friday evening, cold and windy. But a friend and I decided to go out for drinks and listen to some music. And the rest is history, 39 years later we are still together.

I will be watching the Super Bowl this weekend. I like the commercials 😁 and the half time entertainment. I think it’s like World Cup Soccer, that anything can happen and either team can win. Good Luck to both teams.

Hello Sheba, Feliz Carnaval a/k/a Mardi Gras!
It’s the start of Carnaval in Brazil, and ends on Tuesday 13th. This year the 14th, besides being Valentine’s Day it’s also Ash Wednesday.
So glad your daughter is getting better. My niece is well and my neighbor across the street is also doing better.

We are having warm days and chilly nights, mid-to high 70’s during the day and high 40’s to mid 50’s during the night. We are going to get some days in the low 80’s this weekend and in the beginning of next week.

Yesterday’s post luggage set reminds me of the 1960’s, it’s a beautiful set.

Hello Sheba, I hope your Sunday is going well. The Grammy Award is tonight and I will be watching.
I know how you feel, does your daughter have a friend that can check in on her?
Hoping your daughter gets better with each day. Say a prayer to Saint Anthony, use her name and ask him to send her lots of help in getting better and more good health.
My neighbor across the street has RSV, and it has taken her down quite alot. But her daughter is helping her out for a few days. Good thing is they don’t live far from each other.

Sheba, I don’t want to jinx myself but that Aloe Vera Gel (Lily of the desert) from Amazon has worked a miracle on my heartburn. And now I will continue have it daily as a regimen. I looked it up and became aware of the many benefits of having a daily drink of the Aloe Vera Gel gives our body.
