Our weather has been up and down. Some nights are cold, others are cool. Some days goes up to mid seventies and others don’t make it past 60.

Somehow December is flying by, I see the days just running away.
Pretty soon that big ball will be coming down and we will be in a new year.

That’s funny you met a lady from Brazil. I have lived here for 57 years and only had two Brazilian friends throughout all these years. Orlando have lots of Brazilian living there. Jacksonville, when I moved there, only some. When we first moved to Orlando from Jacksonville in 1993. I was so excited to go on International Drive, where there’s lots of restaurants and business. I was glad to see a café called Brasil Café. That was one of the first Brazilian restaurant in Orlando. Now, it’s no longer there, but Orland has plenty of Brazilian businesses, restaurants, supermarkets, perfumes, luggages etc. For the tourist to shop at.

Happy Thanksgiving Week 🦃🦃🦃🦃

The weather is nice here, not cold and not hot. We were able to open windows and doors these few days. I am glad your furnace is fixed and working. And that you and Poppy are warm and cozy.

I baked bread today, milk bread which I enjoy with my coffee in the mornings. I did some chopping for stuffing on Thursday. I chopped onions, celery and leeks. Cleaned carrots and garlic. Tomorrow I will finish cutting the carrots and getting the other items ready. Items for roasting a chicken. Placed in plastic bags and sealed them with the seal machine I got. A pretty basic sealer, reasonable priced vacuums sealer, dry and moist items.

I have two large Ciabatta breads in the freezer. I will use one ad make croutons. Cut into cubes, drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with herbs such as dry Oregano, Thyme, Rosemary, Sage, and salt and bake in the oven. And for hubby’s stuffing I will use his bread, type of bread for diabetes.
I will roast a chicken on Thanksgiving, rather than a turkey. We don’t like turkey enough to make a turkey, we prefer the taste of chicken. On Thursday I will chop the fresh herbs. I like to put fresh herbs in my stuffing. And fresh herbs needs to be cut the moment you are using it.

I am still deciding on the desert. I purchased some vanilla beans on Amazon a while back. Maybe a panna cotta, or maybe a crème brûlée. Those two deserts can be made by leaving out the sugar at first, than dividing in half and adding the sugars which hubby has his own sugar for diabetes. And I don’t care for the taste so I don’t use it in my deserts. I made him some candied Pecans the other day with his sugars, both white and brown sugars. It turned out really good he liked it. Yesterday two huge bags of Pecans halfs arrived, I ordered on Amazon, it came from California.

It’s still a warm evening here. Today the humidity was 83 percent. Temperatures are supposed to go down in the following days. Like into the mid to low forties. Time to get my winter bed coverings out 😂. It’ only for three nights.

I am still decorating for Christmas. Had hubby take down some huge storage bins in the garage and found a bunch of Thanksgiving decorations. But I am skipping decorading for Thanksgiving this year and going straight to Christmas.
Not sure what I am cooking for Thanksgiving. I don’t like turkey and neither does hubby. We do eat a small piece of the breast, should we go to Thanksgiving dinner at a friend’s house.

Wishing you and your husband a happy and safe Veterans day.

Tomorrow we are expecting the arrival of a new stove. The one we have, has given us to many problems. Appliances dont last long anymore the way they used to. We will try this one and see. At least it’s a sale and not full price.

I am a bit sadden, I worked hard along with many. However the outcome didn’t turn out a positive the way it was expected. It was a real let down.

I am enjoying the Perlier Shower Cream Imperial Honey. I found a new fragrance I like. I also like the Double Latte. I purchased 4 different fragrances and all three liters. Hopefully they will last one year, I used up two of the three liters in one year. I thought one bottle is supposed to last one year, oh well.

I would love a ride on that beautiful train. And that laundry room is fabulous.

Hello Sheba 🌹 How are you?
Would you believe we are at 87 degree with a 53% humidity. I like a warm Autumn and Winter but not hot.
I too took advantage of the three little Perlier Shower and Bath Cream low price. Last year I got the Lavender and the Agrumarium, and both is almost gone. This time I got Double Latte, Imperial Honey, White Almond and Honey (original). I never tried the Imperial Honey before, and the fragrance is wonderful. Funny thing is, three came via UPS and the Honey came through the Postal Service.

The carpet in the family room is vacuumed and steamed cleaned. I dusted everything and then I decorated for Christmas🎄.
This weekend with all the promotions and sales all over the place. We are going to take a look at some appliances. Monday is Veterans Day, and hubby is off. If I can find what I want, we may get something for the kitchen and something for the TV room.

Hello Sheba,
It’s a very warm, muggy day here. I couldn’t believe just how high the humidity is, 64% it makes the temperature feels like 91%. It’s a cloudy day and with a few sprinkles of rain. Though we need rain, it didn’t rain.
I have started decorating for Christmas and I am enjoying myself doing it this year. Last year I didn’t do much, this year I am going all out on the decorations. I saw Christmas tree music boxes and musical Christmas carousel on Temu and ordered some for the house. They are so cute and very reasonable. I have looked at several places for many items. And then I search on Temu and compare the item and price.
The croissants and coffee looks wonderful. I wish I had them this morning. I did have some french bread with my coffee this morning. I used a small hand held milk frother I got from Temu, it works real well. I ordered some Christmas rugs and kitchen towels too.

Happy election day. Tomorrow is going to be very interesting. The work is done and now hopefully we can start to rest.

I will start to decorate the house for the holidays. This year I want to decorate early and the entire house not leaving any room not decorated. Both inside and outside. I ordered some Christmas lights and a few other things for the outside.
I see that Taylor Swift arrived at the Chiefs-Buccaneers game with mom Andrea.
