Hello Sheba 🌹 beautiful roses, yellow roses was my mom’s favorite.
Two movies I don’t miss every time it’s on TV, To Sir With Love and Guess Who’s Coming to Diner.
Looks like we are getting some cold weather in the coming days. Hubby said it was chilly today, as he got the mail. Tonight it’s getting into the high 30’s. But in just a few days we will bounce back to the 70’s during the day.
Hopefully the Nation will be warming up soon.

Hello Sheba 🌹, I hope your temperature is a little warmer today.
The Sun came out today and the bunnies came for a visit. They are in the backyard munching on strawberries and lettuce. The strawberry season is strong here in Florida. And they are delicious this year, I like it with vanilla yogurt.

I do believe it is what you think it is. Iam sorry for those all affected by what is happening, prayers to all.

I like the saying you posted. Because we received some bad news. It’s all over the news, we are going through a bump on the road.
The day was very cloudy today. And it finally rained, nothing big. Just enough to water the grass and plants but not a big soaker.

The day was doom and gloom and the Sun agreed with me and decided not to come out all day. Several times got quite dark but no rain, I wish it would rain.

We had leftovers for dinner, I didn’t have to cook. I make me some chocolate pudding for my dessert.

I wish I could send you some of our warm temperatures. We had full sunshine and 87 degrees today. The humidity and heat felt like a summer day.
I looked out the patio door last night and saw the Moon in bloom, full and beautiful.
The pods of milkweed are still burting open and I planted more today.

Last night I was looking up some things on Amazon. A window popped up showing groceries. I was very surprised, since we have tried before and was told they couldn’t deliver this far. I ordered some vegetables and fruits. I saw salmon and got a big piece along with other items, that’s what I made for dinner. It came from Orlando in two parts. One person drove down with part of the order and five minutes later the other person with the rest of the order. I found that some items were more reasonable than the supermarkets around here. It’s been awhile since I have been in a whole Foods supermarket. I liked walking and seeing everything they had especially the fruits and vegetables.

Hello Sheba 🌹 🌹🌹🌹 I hope this finds you well.
The flowers above are beautiful. It got me started thinking of what to plant for Summer.
This weekend I collected loads of seeds from the milkweed pods. And being full Moon I planted most of it all around the yard.

The bunnies continue to come by for their treats. Hopefully there will be lots of baby bunnies came spring.
We have been in the warm side of Winter, in the low 80’s during the day. However no rain in sight.
We took a trip out of town, saw lots of family members. Had a family reunion and enjoyed seeing everyone.

I hope your weather will be kind and that Spring like weather is not far.

Good evening Sheba, sending prayers to Kansas, and to all of the families of the tragic accident in Washington, DC. I remember the one that happened in January of 1982.
I also hope you are feeling better and your sinus is giving you some relief.

I was just thinking about how long can the TV shopping channels sustain. And now I read about the changes. I have purchased many items from QVC in the past. That’s many years ago. Now days I don’t even turn the TV to QVC, however, it was just a matter of time this would happen. Everything is over priced, and can be found on Amazon, Walmart, Target and other places such as Temu. Mostly with a better price and free shipping. The sad part will be that people may lose their jobs.
So I guess I will be shopping else where for the items I some time purchase from HSN.

We have a prime membership on Amazon. I have purchased the Perlier Line products and Wolfgang Puck items. Lately I have been placing lots of orders from Temu. At my age I didn’t think I would be making so many purchases. Organizing my kitchen and bathroom, like on Amazon, the key is to search the item you want. There is more then one vendor and they all have different prices. I found an under the counter Organizer both on Amazon and Temu, the very same item. Amazon wanted $43.00 dollars for it. Temu had its lowest price for $8.99 , imagine that the very same item. I have purchased so much on Temu, it’s addictive 😄. From kitchen towels, table runners, rugs, door mats, Sponges, lots of Christmas items and much more.
Nevertheless I will miss HSN.

Good evening Sheba 🌹 Today we had a warm sunny day.
The temperature will be in the mid 70’s and low 80’s this week. I wish I could send you some of this nice weather your way. I hope you feel better soon.
The bunnies came, they have been coming everyday now. I also get to see lots of birds this time of year, and the cardinals are back.

Brazil’s Carnaval will take place at the end of February. And comes to an end on Ash Wednesday. I am sure the Samba schools are practicing everyday on the streets.

I had ordered a few organizers for pots/pans and lids. They arrived today and are already in use. My pantry is somewhat organized and have a little more room.

The heat is on, it stayed on the last two days. Florida is cold, raining and some areas snowing.
I just finished reading your response to my post two days ago. How did the white bean chili turned out?
I cooked a whole chicken cut into piece, and made Polenta today. To warm up my bones, I made a potato leek soup. Cubed a few slices of bread and toasted with olive oil in a skillet.
I hope your area gets some relief from the extreme cold.

Hello 🌹 in winter wonderland. I am sure you are keeping warm. Winter is showing who is boss and coming all the way to Florida. It’s actually snowing in Florida.

I made a Tuscan white bean soup for hubby today. Its been raining off and on all day long with a cold breeze.
I believe lots of people have the heat on today. The lights kinda flickered went out and came back.

The bunnies were here today. Enjoying their meal, and the cardinals are back too.

I am a bit concern about your legs, and the pain you are experiencing. I can understand the cold weather upon Florida. One day it’s warm/hot, and the next day is cold. Along with the cold you experience at the rehab too.
As I read about cold affecting the body, it mentions heat therapy. I am pretty sure you most likely already have a heat pad on your legs. But I thought I mention anyway.
Is there an oil you can rub and massage your legs with. A warming oil perhaps. Believe it or not, olive oli in the winter warms me upupI use it the massage into my arms and legs. And no, I don’t mind the fragrance of it at all. I also use almond oil at times and castor oil at other times.
I hope you find a solution, and will be able to feel better soon.

Hello Sheba 🌹🌹 I hope you are staying warm.
Our temperature is the normal Florida Winter. Anywhere between high 50’s to 70’s during the day to mid-40’s at night. Saturday we are going to be in hight 70’s. We need rain, hasn’t rain in a long time.
I received some fresh country egg recently. Made pasta sheets for lasagna and used the egg whites and made some meringue. The other day I made a bunch of crumpets. It’s the easiest thing to make and so delicious. I made enough for the freezer too 😋.
Family in Brazil are doing well. All are healing and getting better. Summer is going strong and soon will be time for Carnaval.
I don’t know if one of my niece who always participate in a parade, will do that this year. In Brazil things come to a halt during Carnaval.

It’s a sunny day here but we are staying in the low sixties all this coming week and mostly forties at night.
Last night the Moon looked huge and beautiful. And I could see three large stars, I
think they are planets.
I just finished feeding the bunnies in the backyard. There are two of them that comes often.

My heart goes out to those in California. So many lost everything, and some their life.
I hope that in the future builders will find a way to avoid such situations. Such as building in a way that prevents fire to attach to a house and go from house to house.

The ravioli turned out wonderfully delicious. I had it for a snack this afternoon with butter and sage.
My cousin’s sister who is much older than her was found in her apartment on the floor. She had fallen and needed assistance. That’s not the first time she was found like that. She can’t take care of herself any longer. She was taken to the hospital and now she is in a rehab. The family will be getting her into a assistant living.

Before that, my cousin’s son suprised her with a visit for the New year. In Brazil you get 30 days of vacation per year. Her son’s aunt also arrived for a visit. At her property you first go through a big gate. Then you climb these huge stairs, huge and high to the form of being for a gaint. Whomever made the stairs, made the steps three times the normal hight.
So by the time you get up there, you are exhausted. His aunt is elderly, and was so tired by the time she got into the house she missed stepped and took a hard fall.
She was black and blue, cut her face and mouth. Its been close to two weeks now and she is getting better.
I hope the weather becomes kinder to your area and gets warm.
