I am sorry to have caused you ladies such concern, I am still recovering.

sheba, how have you been?
It finally rain here after not having rain for several weeks. Nothing major, no pour down more like drizzle one day. And the other following day a gentle rain.
I must admit I have been feeling really down and depressed. I know this will pass and get better, but I do ( for a lack of better words) hate being this way.
I don’t have much to write about, so I’ll not be writing often.

A snake tried to get into the house through the patio door the other day. Hubby screamed and practically had an attack. He’s extremely scared of snakes. I was on the sofa and couldn’t imagine what was going on.

Here’s wishing you and Oodiebom a Blessed Thanksgiving and Holiday Season. Full with bountiful of health, filled with joy.

Good afternoon Sheba 😊
It’s a breeze day here, yesterday we had lots of wind. Still no rain and it’s very dry everywhere. Hubby watered the plants, they were just about gone. I don’t have heart to ask him to constantly water them like I used to. He has been doing alot.
Can’t believe it’s just about the end of October. Last year I baked cookies and other goodies for the kids for Halloween. This year hubby ordered candy and he will be giving it out.
Our temperatures continue to remain in the eighties during the day and in the sixties at night.
I am trying to recover, and hoping by the time to decorate for the holidays I will be able to do so.

Hi Oodie, I hope you were able to get some well deserved rest. How is your hubby coming along? I read about his good appetite, that’s a good sign.
And it sounds you are getting things done at home, things are coming together ❤️.

Hello and WOW. I wasn’t aware you had gone through such an ordeal. I started reading and following your thread after I couldn’t get any news from Oodiebom when she last went North and had to stay in Georgia with her hubby in rehab.
You certainly have been through so much Sheba, my heart goes out for you.

All the food I had in the freezer prior to my fall is gone, with the exception of a little tomato sauce and some chicken broth.
So hubby is becoming quite a cook for me and the way I eat😊.

Hello Sheba, how are you feeling today?

My recovery is coming along. I’m now able to take showers sitting down in a shower seat. Was quite a challenge getting down a step, but made it down and up with hubby’s help.

So sad to hear about Suzanne passing. I saw a video on YouTube and learned she had fallen a few times in her home.

Our temperatures are coming down a bit, into the sixties last night.
Hubby made Salmon the other day, used a iron skillet and smoked up the kitchen and family room. He had to open up the patio door and front door but there was no air. The day is so still, no breeze, and humidity was high.

Hello, happy Friday the 13th, it was always a good day for me as a teenager at the fair. I got to win prizes on the color Blue at the roulette wheel. I am glad you are feeling somewhat better. I hope you get 💯 percent feeling better and enjoying your favorite season 🍁🍁🍁.

It’s been three weeks since my fall and I haven’t been able to go outside and get some fresh air. I can’t wait to get better and enjoy my cooking and baking. Let alone a simple task of going to the bathroom and taking a shower.
It rained yesterday, much needed rain. No rain forecast for this coming week. Last week hubby watered my plants, they were so dry.

Don’t forget the annular solar eclipse, Ring of Fire. I think your area will get a good viewing.
