This is the very last straw. I do not want to see 3 ads and then the games are super sized so they fill up my entire screen.

Hoping you will be able to make the smoothest transition from rehab to home. It is a bit daunting because you are taking care of someone you love and only want the best for them. Just keep a calm mind and a steady pace. One thing at a time, one day at a time.
On the plus side of HSN, I actually won something this week – Andrew Lessman Turmeric-400, 120 capsules. Wonder if these will help with all my stress???
Take care Oodie and have safe travels home.

I like the idea of spontaneous input versus an attempt at recreating a different version of Trivia. I see this as a group of like minded people who enjoy getting together every Friday evening and sharing stories, tidbits, facts, news and personal events about our lives – in a positive and nonjudgmental manner. I’d really like just learning more about each of you and what’s going on in your part of the world.
My intro info – I live in Ranson, WV which is about an hour from Washington DC. I’m 75 and a retired elementary teacher. My husband is 82 and has Alzheimer’s so I am his primary caregiver. We have an adorable little Yorkie named Evie.

Sheba, I love your beautiful pics and this rhinestone cake is amazing. Thanks for adding so much enjoyment to this group. You’re the best🌺💐🌺

Hi Oodie! You have so many good ideas and I would love to continue with this group. It is such a nice way to spend a rather boring Friday evening so I do look forward to this post. Not much is going on here in Ranson, WV. We are about an hour from D.C. and get their local news on our TV. They seem to think we will be having some major wind and rain this weekend. My migraines always hit hard with any kind of atmospheric changes. I hope we will miss most of the action. HaHa. Wishing you a very calm and peaceful weekend and continued progress for your hubby.

Hi Oodie. Sending hugs from sunny Harpers Ferry, WV. I did see your post to me from last week’s game. Yes, there is finally a lot of new research and new drugs available for Alzheimer’s, but sadly it is too late for my husband. He is physically strong and able but has little to no memory. We just do the best we can for now. Wanting you to have a very nice weekend if I don’t join you and the regulars on tonight’s trivia.

Hello everyone. Nice to see all your comments and answers. BUT, it sure does seem like I’ve seen these questions before! LOL

Such a fun evening with so many kind (and super smart) friends here every Friday. I love the amazing pictures or whatever these are called. I’m still a total computer nerd but I do enjoy this group and appreciate all of you and special thanks to our special friend, Oodiebom. Good night and sweet dreams!

Wishing you a most Happy Birthday, Mr. Oodiebom!

Thank you for everything. You have been a wonderful hostess. I will be glad to join you here next Friday and keep the fun going in a new direction. Have a safe trip home. Good night and pleasant dreams!

I always feel so special when you reply – doesn’t matter when! You really have had a busy week and I’m sure the apple episode was scary. Men just never listen, do they? You would never believe the conversations I have with my hubby. If you’ve seen the movie, Groundhogs Day, that’s my life now. Same conversation over and over and over. But he is still the love of my life and I’m honored to be his wife. Tomorrow my Texas Longhorns will be on TV and we both will be watching as I’m a UT graduate, class of 1970! Thank you again for reaching out and for just being so darn NICE.

Oodie, you have been such an inspiration to me with your continued love and care for your husband during his lengthy illness. My husband is slowly leaving me from Alzheimer’s and it’s so incredibly painful to watch his deterioration. Thank you for giving us this platform to have a little fun. I hope we can find another way to continue and remain friends. 🤗 Hugs 🤗

I’m doing better and hope things will get better for both of you. My husband has Alzheimer’s, and since being diagnosed 4 years ago, I have been his caregiver. We don’t get out much anymore so I look forward to this group you started that toggles my brain with interesting questions. I like reading everyone’s comments, but am so shy about joining in. I’ll try and add more each Friday.

Sheba2011, Thanks. You touched my heart with your kind words.

It’s not the worst because we are at least getting questions and earning points. BUT – these questions are pretty much all HSN related.
