Sorry Pinkdoll, I confused you with someone else. My apologies.

Really Pinkdoll? Aren’t you the one who has been livid that Dimitri (Skinn) changed his configuration and price point? No disrespect but I’m confused. I thought you were a dedicated purchaser of skin care products. I apologize ahead of time if I’m in error.

Yep, I totally understood what you meant. I was just adding my experience with her drama kimonos. I said toppers but I should have said the kimonos I size down to medium. All these terms and labels can be a bit much. 😊

Good info Jackiebouvier. Thank you and I agree about finding your particular style fit with this line. I am a large across the board but tend to size down to a medium in her toppers. Her shirts/tees I buy true to size.

Hi Kittengirl. Yes, I agree some jersey knit fabrics are very unflattering. Not Marla’s due to the cut. Her butterfly tees kind of swing away from the body. I will say they are cut boxy so you’ll either like the look or hate it. I’m getting that new pant she featured in the merlot. It reminded me of the trouser version of the recent Yummie TS. She also has a similar color called merlot. I love the quality and fit of her pants. I too am getting that crescent top in berry to match those trousers. My first two purchases of the season. Have a great week 😊

Thank you Jackiebouvier.

LOL, wow can you imagine? The “community” would go nuts and would probably crash HSN’S website!

Lorasas, I agree. Although he is now saying cook on medium heat, he is still stating medal utensils are ok. During one of the presentations yesterday he stated just that while using his metal tongs. I did notice he was using the tongs with a rather soft hand. Listen, I don’t think many of us would mind hearing, “the product works best and will last longer when cooked on medium heat and when non metal utensils are avoided.” I wish they would trust their customers enough to know we can handle the truth. I am a fan of Curtis Stone and probably have way too much of his stuff. I love that he thinks of items that make our cooking life better. Just tell it like it is. It probably won’t stop many of us from continuing to purchase.

Wow kittengirl, what a cool connection to Grant Park! You seem like such an interesting girl. Raiders and Bears in London, would be so much fun to see.
I didn’t buy the cargo TS due to my new rule of adding no more than 4 pieces per season. It’s really made me more discerning. I did think the cargo pant was cute but it didn’t wow me. So I passed. If I decided to purchase I would have definitely purchased the olive green. I really wanted to go for the Yummie legging TS. I fell in love with that berry color but feared sizing being as issue. I love Lysee leggings and find their sizing to be more consistent.
Anyway, take care and enjoy your weekend -
Well Kittengirl, it was a great start. I was so excited then things went all the way wrong. They have to get it together. I didn’t make the trek down to Grant Park. I really would have needed to be down their much earlier to get a good area to camp out Also, the thought of the traffic from Soilder Field and from the park terrified me.
It’s the first game…still hopeful 🐻 -
@babbs1966, I understand. I appreciate and understand your post. Because of this particular forum I’m determined to learn how to state my opinion without making someone else wrong for “their” opinion. Some folks think it’s because of “other” people that people don’t participate more in the community, while overlooking the clickish behavior of many. I too get bored with vendors that don’t represent my interest. Although I have some Jay King…I am more of a clothing/shoes girl. I also realize this is not everyone’s thing. So I search the schedule and set reminders for items I’m interested in. Hold on @babbs1966, you’ll have your perfect viewing day that someone else will absolutely hate!!
