Thank you very much for the get well wishes for mom.❤️ It has been a tough five days. Mom has a lot of pain in her arm and she is trying to pull the cast off. Me, hubs and sis never had a broken bone so we don’t know how it feels. I have been velcro daughter because she needs help with everything – walking, bathing, dressing, etc. Having one hand to use is hard. And her balance right now is very unsteady.

Sis will be here tomorrow evening and I will need about a week doing nothing to recover. I always admired nurses and right now I have the utmost respect for them all.❤️👍

Posting may be limited until my sister gets back. When I left mom yesterday, all was fine. She ended up falling and breaking her wrist in two places. Left the hospital around 10:30 pm and spent this morning at the ortho office getting a cast. X-rays after the cast show two places aligned just right but one place is a tad off so we have to go back Monday morning for either a recast or partial recast. Nothing is easy. I will be at her house 24/7 until sis gets back Wednesday night. Hard for her to maneuver with just one arthritic hand.

Thoughts on 1587? Looks elegant but I would not enter starving. Not for the average guy which was likely planned. Maybe in a month they will offer buy one, get one free, lol!

Did some things around the house for mom while she was at the hair salon. Her party is tomorrow so I hope someone takes pictures. I plan on staying home after I grocery shop for me in the morning.🛒

I reminded mom she had to get up early tomorrow for her lunch with the ladies and she said, no, that is on Thursday. I said yes, today is Wednesday. I guess she is losing track of the days without sis there. At 95, I imagine that is easy to do.

Very breezy day here, it looked like it was snowing leaves. So many down, so many yet to fall. I did some grocery shopping for mom. Hubs trapped another coon overnight so he was on release duty this morning.🦝

As you know, I understand how you feel, the one and only drawback of having a pet. They never live long enough.😢So hard…..

Meatloaf is one of my hub’s favorite meals. Just read in the food section of the newspaper today that someone had engraved on their mother’s headstone “she made the best meatloaf.”🤣

Greetings this Saturday afternoon. Yes, it is Fall here also with leaves and temps.🍂🍁

I was able to get mom a pair of kid’s slippers yesterday – Squishmallows – she loves them! I hope she can walk okay in them at the party.

I haven’t started the large Skinn bottle yet as I have an open smaller bottle I’ve been using. But I do really like the lip oil, I have used that a couple times.

Games all over the place this evening, take your pick.🏈🏒⚾ I’m sure hubs will be flipping around. Relax, sending big hugs to you and Poppy.🤗💖

Sis is better but she is still low on energy. She did get to the dentist, hair salon and smog check on the car and registration. She gets a lot done when home for a month although she doesn’t have much of a choice. Get this – my mom, 95 years old, 4’6″, is going to a Halloween party as a little kid. I have to go look for children’s animal slippers tomorrow, LOL!🤣

BTW, your picture of the sliced steak is exactly what I was thinking, divide it up amongst the table and save money. I can’t say I ever saw one person eat a 40oz. steak.🥩

I looked up the menu and there is a steak even more than that – 40oz Wagyu Tomahawk for $345. Maybe it’s cheaper to get that and cut a piece for everyone at the table, lol!🤣 I hope you get to keep the plate and it’s signed by T&T! Also, spaghetti and meatballs for two-$68. That’s some expensive Barilla and Prego!! Us regular people need NFL contracts to pay the bill.

Like Oz, we are cool and around 60, chance of rain each day. Stopped at mom’s to get her mail and say hi.

You sound like you have what my sister has. Talked to her today and she’s been sick since she got off the cruise last Tuesday. Lost her voice, slight temperature, congestion, etc.🤒 She says she sounds worse than she feels but she hasn’t left the house since Wednesday. I hope you can shake this quickly. ‘Tis the season for everything.
