Abby19083 My opinion is these companies spend a lot on researching buying habits. I too, considered purchasing, but certainly not at regular price. As sales/marketing director for a hotel I learned they spent millions researching guests buying habits etc.
I think when an item doesnt sell well they run the ts price another day.
I also think when ts price they often intentionally allow a set number of items to be sold at special price. then hope to get others to purchase at regular price.
I used to listen while cooking/cleaning, hear price then pay attention to tv only to see price on screen was not higher than what host was saying. ugh. I now listen to my favorite music which saves me money & makes the drudgery of cleaning a “dancing” affair.
I dug out my old hanging travel case, cleaned it up & reorganized it. I added the $40+ to my list of what I have been saving & when I go to bank take that amount out & put in my “travel envelope” & so far $227!! Almost enough for a weekend get away this summer. I am excited & dont miss the stuff I would have bought.
I decided to purchase some clearance -9 items-then saw the total on the shipping & walked away. Disgusting. -
Thanks to everyone for input. Update on my furry friendly bearpaw boots. I purchased 2 of the furry ones on clearance. The pink & gray thinking because they had some tread they would be ok. I decided to be safe & order the attachable track thingys, but of course would be an issue attempting to get them on to the fur, so will use on other boots. Well, with circulation issues & keepin temp in house down my feet are always freezing. These bearpaws have natural wool lining & removable inserts so feet dont perspire as with regular slippers, & I now use them as slippers. How wonderful they are for that purpose. With warm feet the rest of my body is warmer as well & even able to lower temp in house another 2 degrees.

Daniel Kiviat with Maggie Sweet clothing line. I certainly miss him & his perfectly tailored well fitting clothing. He offered liquid knit way back then. I wanted to when graver stated she invented & patented liquid knit. Didnt like her from the day she said “you would be sillly not to buy this” & now refuse to watch her. Thinkin she stole liquid knit & in this world first to patent, I guess. Ugh.

Someone mentioned shannon as a favorite. Not to be rude, but many years ago when she was often on with wolfgang, she drove me bonkers. On air went coo coo crazy asking worrying about her “containers” so she would be able to take the food home. Became obnoxious.

Now sheba has taken over daus site. I am a small woman & her jewelry would over whelm me.
Also the prices she asks for costume jewelry – not even semi precious stones is absurd -
Yes, I agree with sizing for models. I pay attention to petite as I am 5’1″, & cannot see length of sleeves as they always push them up on petite models, so gave up watching. Worse is often deemed petite but are not. They are just short. Most frustrating is why on earth does the length get longer as sizes increase? I am short/fat, but when ordering xl the length is way too long.

I agree Callie is a great host. Doesnt speak over guests, never says hurry they are selling out. lol She speaks the facts.
I am sorry Mary Beth is retiring. She is good too. As for Jane & her stories of family I sure wish she would retire. I wont miss Kirsten she was getting quite arrogant and whats her name had new hubbie on with wedding & had him on for last show & slapped his hand ugh after he said the black ring was boring….. wow control freak. Know she will return selling something. -
I am wondering if they are trying sooo hard to not be laid off?
I agree the guest knows more about product & should be allowed to speak uninterrupted.
It does get tremendously aggravating, so I just go watch a movie. “Aint no earth changing items I must buy” lol -
Thanks RBLOVED. Just seemed easier new year new vitamins. lol. Easy to spend that much!

I too think Bobbi is anorexic. She never ever ate a morsel of food on the food shows. I was horrified when she wore a sleeveless low cut dress years ago & could see clearly the outlines of her implants. I worked for doctors many years ago & we closed 2 hrs for lunch (gone are those days, lol) A doc came in lunch room & tv was on shopping channel. I said nothing he said she needed help.

I too have some very old tupperware. I saved the huge green bowl mom used to make tater salad in & put bird seed in it. I tossed the rest as I am certain they have bpa i the plastic.

In the opinion of this 74 yr old lady, I too do not like seeing her after her face lift. She was a natural beauty soft looking. Now, to me she is hard appearing, and from the face lift her nose appears wider. For a while she used dark brown makeup down center of her nose in an attempt to make it seem narrower. My mind goes to the emotional aspect of it. I read she is a breast cancer survivor, so perhaps that caused her to have a “live for today” attitude. My concern is due to the skin continuing to sag no matter what skin care we use, how soon will she feel compelled to do it again, and then have a harder appearance. I think every person who is diagnosed with cancer should go to counseling, as it has devastating effects emotionally as well as phycically. Just my opinion.

Ugh Bobbi, have never cared about watching her.
