Bethenny Frankel’s jeans were the absolute best. I purchased 4 pairs before she left HSN. Her readers were of high quality too. Today I am wearing Iman jeans which fit perfectly. Many of the good designers seem to have moved on and I don’t blame them. Whenever I order DG2 jeans they never seem to fit quite right, but I have kept a few pairs. I don’t really think HSN’S clothes are “old lady” looking like some have said but I am not exactly a fashionista either. I tend to be more of a conservative dresser.

I like Jay and always watch when he is on, but I don’t buy much from his line anymore. His jewelry on clearance/sale used to be great but now the prices are too high and there never seems to be anything that great to buy. The website will indicate that an item is available but if you try to order one you are told it is on waitlist. After trying to order several items with no luck I just give up and don’t order anything.

This clothing line is terrible as far as I’m concerned. I like Vivica but most people don’t prance around in their daily life wearing skintight garish looking clothes! The only outfit I almost liked was the black pant set even though the pants were too baggy. When Sara was on wearing the overly tight dress that she kept yanking on over and over, she just looked silly. Maybe she should have gone up a size!

I can’t imagine anyone needing so many hangers. I am scaling down my closet and eliminating all of the garments I no longer wear or need. I bought a few of Joy’s hangers at a flea market last year and got 6 of them for $1.00! I know they were hers because her name was on them. They are a light sage green, and I really like them but not enough to pay the prices on HSN! That being said, I am happy for her success, and I like to watch her presentations.

It’s not much help when the show host only tells how tall the model is and the size she is wearing. No mention of garment measurements, which to me is important. When it comes to jackets, most of the models are wearing at least a size too small, so they are not in their correct size anyway. Many of them couldn’t even come close to buttoning what they are modeling. Maybe sizes in the dressing room are limited so they have to wear whatever is available.
As far as Marla’s fashions, I purchased a pair of grey jeans a couple of months ago and I hate them. No give in the waist, baggy everywhere else, and too short like flood pants. I haven’t bought any of her clothes since that debacle. -
I agree about how petite sizes are few and far between. I am barely over 5′ tall so the today’s special was a no for me. Otherwise, I would have ordered the grey one. I love the style of a basic button-down shirt, always in style and looks good on everyone.

Beauty products (foundations) that are supposed to fill in and minimize wrinkles. Not one of them has ever worked for me and usually all they do is look cakey and accentuate what they are supposed to improve. Also, lip pumpers that are nothing more than glorified lip gloss.

I like Debbie D very much, but my husband doesn’t care for her. He can’t stand it when she describes herself as a tall drink of water. He expects a tall thin model to be saying that!
I think she is a great host and I enjoy watching her, so I just ignore his opinion! -
If you purchase an item for 40.99, after tax and shipping it will be another $10. Then if you have to return it there goes another 6.95! These days I am being much more mindful to only buy on free shipping and 5 flex pay days. Anything I buy on HSN is a want, not a need so if I say no more often, I never regret it. There are always going to be things I would love to have but I don’t want to go broke!

I was surprised to see Valerie on air yesterday with Skip and Lesley. I felt kind of bad for her because every time she managed to get a word in the show host barged in and wouldn’t let her complete a sentence. Whether you like Valerie or not I thought that was rude. Anyway, I hope she does well in her new position.

Tupperware is a fun vintage look in the kitchen, but I hesitate to purchase it. Plastic containers are difficult to clean if certain kinds of foods are put into them such as oily tomato sauces. I think the lettuce keeper would be useful and for dry goods Tupperware would work great. As far as the live Tupperware party goes, I think it would have been nice if HSN had given everyone who attended a free gift rather than just the ones who won a drawing. Some of those people drove a long way to be there. As far as health reasons go regarding plastic, I try to curb it when I can, but I think some of the “dangers” of using it are overblown.

Being truthful means nothing nowadays. If one small word or phrase may remotely offend someone your review will be toast!

I didn’t care for the green amber necklace Jay was selling yesterday. If someone gave me one, I would never wear it. I thought it looked gawdy.

I wonder why he had to go for injectables when Plexaderm is available? According to HSN that is all you need!!
