I’m all alone here except for my 9 yo Rottie mix. She is good company and a great protector. However, conversations are very lacking. I have no children and no family in the area. I had a close BFF, but she has some form of dementia/obsession. So she suddenly doesn’t want to have anything to do with anyone except her immediate family. It gets lonely at times, but I’m trying to get involved with senior activities near me. That has a steep learning curve.
