I’m so glad that Colleen no longer presents for Andrew. During her presentations, Andrew had to keep correcting much of what she would say.

I was disappointed as well that Jennifer was not in attendance.

I searched the QVC program guide and there are no upcoming shows for SSC. So I wonder if there will be another appearance of SSC.

I also believe they include charing taxes on the S&H. I will never understand this.

Sounds like you have your hands full. You have many challenges ahead, both good & difficult. It is great news he will soon be home with you.

Just a few thoughts from experience when my Dad had severe Alzheimer’s. My mother was Catholic & she received assistance from a Catholic organization: assistance showering; someone to sit with him when she ran errands-grocery shopping, etc. I have no idea of your religious affiliations, if you have any, but they helped with my Dad. My parents were living in Las Vegas at the time.

They had a roll in shower & showering chair to assist with this process.

Hospital-type bed with rails, that raise & lower, on top & bottom of bed to prevent falling (I believe you can rent or buy). If Dad had fallen, it would have been a major production to get him back up as he was a little difficult to reason with his Alzheimer’s personality.

If you get a walker with wheels, be sure there is a way to lock them, in case he wants to remain in one place for a time.

It sounds like you have the toilet access covered.

FYI: Noticed on Andrew’s website, you can order Secure in large sizes & get a pHact bar included for no extra charge. He does offer flex pay on the TS Products.

Do you have any of the staples remaining? Do you have a home depot or a hardware store you can go to? Maybe they can help compare the staples to what they have in stock. Or maybe a office supply store and they can compare the staples to their in-stock.
