We have gotten some heat this August, but it was late in coming this summer, so I can’t complain. Right now we have a mixture of cool sea air and also hot blowing air from the desert–it’s weird. The poor firefighters are still struggling, but making some progress with lots of help from all over.
I just saw on the news that a nearby county–Ventura-has turned the fairgrounds into a drive-in concert venue. Every family is in their cars and you bring your own food and wear a mask if you leave your car. They set up an elevated large stage in the middle with live bands, and huge 4k screens.
Our local fairgrounds has set up a drive-through for picking up fair food. The individual food stands that would have been set up for the fair {cancelled this year} are operating for take-out food and drink. You can order deep-fried twinkies, and brats, lemonade, cotton candy, and basically all the food you would normally buy while strolling through the fair. It’s a win-win solution and I really love seeing the creativity in bringing our normal social customs for the community. -

You are such a beautiful spirit, Sheba, and your pictures reflect that. I hope this week goes better for you.

Last to come, last to leave, lol! Nice to see you pop in and that you’re ok.
Tonight is the first time in a long while that I’ve played the puzzle and I really have no idea what is going on with that. -
I hope the approaching storms miss you and that you stay safe.

You are the hostess-with-the-mostest, lol!

Yes, we are far from the fires and my heart breaks for those who are losing their homes.

Yes, definitely, and you too! I hope you are doing ok.

I tend to get similar symptoms when I get up in the morning and worry about it–then I drink lots of fluids and I feel fine just a little bit later. Be sure to extra-hydrate, and yes, sleep may be the next best thing. Take care, Pipman.
