Oh that’s rough having to be “on call” for a waitlist, but so many people are having to do similar just to get a chance. Things will be easier in just a few weeks, maybe 12-15. I have been hunkered down here since November and I plan to wait until I can just make my apptmt at a local pharmacy. I know that day is coming soon. My brother is still working and brings fresh groceries, so I am fortunate there, and I had a well stocked pantry to start. I hope you and your husband are able to secure an appointment soon. Take care, and have a great week.

That is very wise, and to you and Sheba, I would add something my father used to say:
“God never gives us more than we can handle–I just wish he didn’t think so highly of me.” -
Oh gosh, good one!

You will be the first one I call upon!
Actually, I need to replace the television in my bedroom so I’ll probably go for that when I decide what size and model. I got the fancy big one for the living room last summer and it is a truly wonderful treat for my old eyes. The one in my bedroom is an old fashioned crt 19 inch–not even digital–I use a converter box with it. Since I don’t have cable or satellite or anything, I just use streaming services (Netflix and Prime), so I want something on which to view those. It’s long overdue, but I had other priorities.

I thought the same (though we just made it to 25 years before I lost him to cancer). It sure didn’t seem that long and yet I couldn’t really remember my life without him in it. As an outside observer, it would seem that the celebration has continued because you have such a lovely attitude towards life–and the people you touch here.
