Martinc, I definitely will miss HSN, but I will miss the HSN of yesteryear. All the Reps were perfectly nice when I recently contacted them in regard to HSN messing up my exchange, but I really don’t believe that the customer should have to do HSN’s accounting for them. Obviously, HSN did know something was amiss because they sent me two emails, but if they would have looked a little closer, they should have been able to catch their error. I tried shopping at QVC some years ago and they seemed to be a bit unorganized in their methods. I do not have the time or the inclination to put up with this sort of baloney. I am retired. (And when I did work, I got paid for my work).

Hol44, So crazy???? What is so crazy about NOT wanting to make purchases with your phone? As someone who has taken every IT class offered, I still have a flip phone and have no desire to get a smartphone. (And it’s not because I lack knowledge of how to operate one. Show me any operating system and I will show you how to operate it). At least, I can say that my identity has NOT been stolen. Sure, it’s convenient to keep ALL your info on a smartphone, but the question is as follows: Who is it MOST convenient for? Some of my relatives who have smartphones do NOT put their credit card and bank info on their phones and they do not purchase items with their phones. Do you honestly think that there is NOT a “backdoor” in the security system of your smartphone? Hackers are a very ingenious and innovative bunch. Smartphones are nice to have, but do you really want to put your WHOLE life on your smartphone? Yes, one can still have their identity stolen even if they don’t place their financial info (and other info) on a smartphone, but why make it SO easy?

Oh, my goodness, Lynne! You took me totally by surprise!!!! I happened to look at my orders today because I am very excited about a couple of pairs of shoes (ordered one pair for my daughter) and a pair of sandals that will be arriving soon … like a kid at Christmas … lol! I spotted the Benefit eyebrow pens on order, and I was so surprised! Thank you. I did not want to ask because I knew that it was over 30 days and I had waited too long to even try them out … my bad! Lynne, I truly appreciate YOU and HSN going the extra mile. It was totally unexpected. Never experienced any other merchant who goes this far out of their way to please customers. Lol … this is just one of the many, many reasons I always shop at HSN (and have no plans to quit). You made my day! Thanks so much for caring.
