Hi Ladybug: I’m smiling at your post. I have been a HSN customer almost from the beginning. Those early days were quite similar to what you see in the hosts today. It wasn’t until Home Shopping was almost over that Barry Diller came in and made an offer and the rest was history until a few years ago when the original owners (under another name and format) bought it back. I am still reeling from that purchase. Today, I do not watch the presentations. I check the daily program guide and take a look at the offerings. If anything interests me I either wait for the presentation or watch the video if the pictures do not show what I need to know. I also mute the sound. The one thing I hate is the high pitch presentation. I usually run the other way and do the same in any retail establishment.

Hi Delraylaw. You always had some great advice. How are you???? Hubby is doing better. Still in rehab and trying to get him home. Our concerns with his kidney and bladder is over. There is a slight obstruction with the bladder that will require surgery and anesthesia, but it is not invasive. He will spend one night in the hospital and th e catheter will be removed the next day. This will put him within normal range. Now we just need to get his knee repaired and all will be well.
