Alphonso mangoes from India used to cost 2 bucks each pre-pandemic. Then they just weren’t imported for 3 years ago. They’re back at $6 !!!. If you see Kent mangoes, they’re better than average, like honey/Ataulfo, but you’re right, it’s hit or miss.
