Same here. I saw someone post about this very problem two days ago, and I had the same issue tonight.

You might try Dell. They have no interest financing. Note that you have to pay it off in the stated time period or you end up paying astronomical interest for the whole time period.
If you have a steady job, it’s easy enough to figure out what you have to pay each month to pay off the computer in the time period, which buy the way is substantially more than the minimum payment. They sell PCs, not Mac’s.Other computer companies/stores offer no interest financing too. Best buy might. I got a nice Asus from them for a fantastic price on Black Friday.

I sanitize the packaging on everything, not just from California and New York, that comes in from the house. I suspect the contents of the skincare items and most things we buy were manufactured before the outbreak of the disease. In fact, retailers are having trouble restocking items because of delays in the manufacturing pipeline due to the disease. I’ve been more concerned about outer packaging than what’s inside the bottles or boxes, and I will spray the outside of any plastic item with bleach (diluted with water). I do this before opening the inner packaging.
The implication from your question is that you think products made in California or NY are dangerous but not those manufactured elsewhere. I think that’s a mistake. There are people with the virus in your own state and likely your town. That’s the nature of a pandemic. I live in Minnesota, and we have cases here. Our numbers are lower than most of the nation, but then only the seriously ill can get tested. The actual infection rates are far higher than the daily stats reveal. -
Felling the Amazon by using excess packaging is hardly reassuring. They shipped together before, as recently as the craft day before this past one. They can do it again. I’ll only shop on the 31st if they bring back $5 shipping.

I didn’t wait for an invoice. looked at my shopping cart and saw what they were going to charge me. Then I deleted all but two items in my cart. The two I kept had $3.50 shipping. Somehow I knew this was coming. Since QVC has bought HSN, HSN is no longer a good place to shop. My only uncertainty is whether QVC is deliberately trying to bankrupt HSN or if the execs really are that inept.

They lost a fortune yesterday. People emptied their carts when they discovered there would not be $5 shipping. QVC wants to nickel and dime it’s customers, but they lose a huge amount of sales in the process. I hope they are pleased with themselves.

I bought two items with $3.50 shipping and deleted the rest of my cart. I turned off the TV and won’t be doing anymore shopping. I usually spend a lot on craft day. Whoever made this decision isn’t smart.
They act like Flex pay is a big deal. It isn’t, especially when it used to be standard when HSN was a great place to shop.

Lavinia Stamps and Ranger. Hero Arts and Birch Press would be great too.

I ended up getting the Gemini TSV. I was going to get the Empress, had already ordered it actually, but then I found out the plates that come with it wouldn’t accommodate Anna’s gatefold dies. That’s the whole reason I wanted an electric machine–to have the capacity for bigger dies. Otherwise I could just stick with my Big Shot. It was going to be another $60 for the larger plates, and I figured I might as well get all the dies and embossing folders that come with the TSV. My main concern with the Gemini is the plates. I can use a self healing cutting mat for the cut in plate though. The magnetic shim is probably a lost cause.

I think they want to get rid of HSN. They bought the company to get rid of competition.

This statement was posted to Anna’s Facebook page this morning.
“Tonight on HSN, I will be on Skype with Suzanne and Stefaney from 7-9pm EST. Join me for 2 hours of Anna Griffin products and the Cricut Joy live from my kitchen!”

The parent company that owns QVC bought HSN, and the channel has deteriorated ever since. That company’s flagship is QVC., with other acquisitions like Zulily subsequent. Your point is a matter of semantics. To claim that QVC didn’t buy HSN is false.
I’m glad you’re happy with the changes at HSN. That makes one. -
If that happens to me, I will return it. I’ll try using a self-healing cutting mat as the top plate in hopes that it will protect the materials underneath.

craftmanic1,
I wish I’d read your post before I ordered the Gemini. I may see if I can cancel the order, but I doubt it’s possible at this point. I will let you know what I think after I receive it. I have no plans to get rid of my Big Shot. BTW, Sizzix debuted an electric cutting machine at Creativation, but it won’t be on the market until May. I saw a YouTube video about it. It looks fantastic. You don’t need to fiddle with sandwich thickness since the machine senses the thickness of your die or embossing folder and adjusts automatically. Sizzix products tend to be very good. I just couldn’t wait until May.
