Amazing!

Remember the days when many of the vendors had their own distinct packaging? Nothing was as elegant as Heidi’s packaging with the gold/black boxes. Now my extensive collection is comprised of the gold/black, blue and gray boxes. Doesn’t make for beautiful storage display.

Lately I’ve been purchasing more of my Heidi pieces directly from her website and they arrive in the gold/black boxes. If I’m giving a gift I try to purchase it on Heidi’s website so that the recipient receives the elegant packaging. The HSN boxes detract from the beauty of the jewelry.

Anything that costs as much as Heidi Daus, Rarities, etc. should not arrive in the ugly, dirty gray boxes. So please bring back Carol Brodie’s original lavender boxes too! My rarities collection is now in three different colors as well. Not pretty!

Cheap, cheap, cheap!

HSN is complying with federal and state tax codes/laws. There’s no point in doing a petition. It is what it is. Even so, I miss the old days of not being charged tax on HSN items I purchased.

I did receive one invoice that didn’t have a return label but I thought it was for that one item only. I always have my husband or daughter take my HSN returns to UPS. It’s been so easy up until now. If this is the new return policy I will be purchasing nothing or very little from HSN in the future. I guess they want to make it more difficult for us to return items.

If we have to pay for each return I will be combining several into one box to save money. I know HSN prefers that we return items in their original shipping but I will combine instead to save money. However, I think not shopping here is the obvious answer.

The hosts spend much more time working off camera than you might realize. Colleen has her own jewelry designs and other lines that don’t just magically appear on her shows. This is only a part of what she does. She’s moved up considerably through the years. Success brings more success if you work smart and hard.

Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. They are much appreciated. My hometown was such a safe city before the shooter decided to drive 10 hours to kill innocent men, women and children of all ages. Most of the victims were shopping for school supplies at their local Walmart, a Walmart that is the 5th highest in sales in the world. Maybe this tragedy will be the one to finally elicit change in our gun laws and to address mental illness treatment reform.

Hi Sheeba! Yes it is. I have several of the short ones. I wear them with some egg earrings and kissable cuffs from Joan’s collection. So many compliments. Love to wear them around Easter. Good to see you Sheeba!

I will always treasure my egg necklaces. Always feel like a million bucks when I wear them. Love my bracelets too! Wherever Joan lands I will follow.
