Winnetka came up from Florida and Bobbie made sure to mention she came from Florida. I think most of the models on HSN and the Q do a nice job. Whether or not they move around is decided by the stage manager, not the models. Seems like a production issue, not a talent issue. Just sayin’.

If they wanted QVC to have the more traditional green/red holiday decor, they could have had HSN have something different, but tasteful. Think silver and gold, midnight blue, burgundy, crystals. Modern but glam (like Elton John showed from his home selling Slatkin candles) Law library chic, if that’s a thing?! 😉 Instead, it’s fuschia and pink with aqua curtains and cheap ivory laminate counters like it’s a tacky ’80’s fern bar. Makes me cringe.

I have in the past, purchased two different colors of this one (EFAN, I believe) and the fabric feel and sizing was so different between the two colors. One was soft, one felt like it had a coating on it. So much crazy lint in the dryer! I’ve pretty much given up on Amazon from China clothing, too many quality and size variations. If you’re going to spend $25-$50 for a warm sweatshirt, I would suggest Land’s End. Helpful American Midwest customer service, garment measurement and size chart accuracy, quality fabrics that wash up well. Just a thought….

I wasn’t able to see Lynn’s farewell show. I hope they did something nice for her. She spent her whole career at HSN, so it is probably so hard for her to leave. She will always be a favorite for me. Her shows years ago with Perlier and all the laughs with Skip! Her special rapport with Heidi Daus! Just this week, her Chaco Canyon and other jewelry shows reminded me of how professional and pleasant she is on air and how much I always enjoy watching the shows she hosts. I will definitely miss her presence on HSN. It would be nice if she ended up a product line rep. like some of the former Q hosts have done. I would welcome that, but hope she does well and is happy in whatever she does in the future. Thank you, Lynn!!!!

I think the HSN folks are still getting used to the PA producers/directors. Different people, different styles, different pace talking into your ear piece. Even Colleen tonight said, I think my old crew must have been afraid of me, they never got in this close to me holding the jewelry. May be they were afraid I would fumble and drop things but these guys are fearless,! The guest said, well, you are trembling a bit. And they just laughed. Even a veteran like Colleen has to adjust to new equipment and new crew in the PA studios.

Opinions can be very helpful to management and talent, IF the criticism is constructive. Like reminding folks that espresso doesn’t contain an X (LOL) or to remind them not to talk over the guests, etc. But often times, the Internet anonymity somehow gives way from constructive opinions to cruelty. If you wouldn’t say it to their face, or if you would be marched into HR if you said it to a work colleague, may be you should pause for a bit before hitting the ‘post’ button. The hosts are people with feelings, as are the other folks posting in this ‘community’. Just sayin’.☮️

I know I should respond with an HSN product, but Olay Super Serum, fragrance free is really good (a more affordable option than Lancome Genefique, which is also very good but pricier, so depends on your budget. )

Absolutely, ennui. It is even more noticeable with lab rubies and sapphires. They look perfect, but even though, not fake, the color perfection and brilliance seem strange or sterile compared to Mother Nature’s gems. That said, I understand lab grown fans are considering how much more bang or bling they get for their budgets. Also, no need to certify “cruelty free” when lab grown.
