I thought it was just me being so disappointed with the level of decoration on the HSN sets. I’m beginning to think that this move to Pennsylvania was much more challenging than expected….and it shows thru some newer hosts being unprepared or just downright rude to vendors, items being sold not leveling up to the quality of yesteryear, or in this particular subject, the stage decorator’s ability to bring to life ANY theme related to the holidays. Some of the QVC set seems to actually look like the decorators from down in Florida are working on their sets, not the HSN sets,…..I don’t know why.

Still hoping things will turn around this year, with upcoming TS from both august & leo, and Winter Lane… maybe Mr. Christmas. HSN may need more time than that, which doesn’t thrill me.
And I really, really appreciate seasoned hosts being part of this new set up, …I’m certain this hasn’t been easy for them, either.

I have been quite impressed with Nicole…..her ability to give information about a product, combined with hosting a guest and keeping her tone so well modulated? And that smile…..
Nicole does do an EXCELLENT job! Thank you for being a host that I ACTUALLY want to listen to…and buy from ! (Well, sometimes!)

I’m a bit frustrated with the selection of Christmas offerings for decor so far this year as well.
Maybe it’s because of the move to PA this year that is causing the selection to be what it is….but I’ve purchased more than my share of Christmas decor from HSN in the past, especially Winter Lane and August & Leo, and what’s being offered now is unappealing to me. Hopefully there will be more variety available moving thru October and early November.

Either way, I’ll still be shopping …and hopefully buying!

I have also enjoyed watching some of the Christmas in July stuff on QVC….so I’m enve more excited for the August 11 and 12 shows on HSN!

Yup. I’ve noticed some hosts “twirling” as you say, tillyboy. I find that action disrespectful towards the models and even towards the designer. If the designer comments/compliments the host on how the clothing or shoe is fitting them, that’s when I believe a host could smile and twirl!
Otherwise, it just seems wrong to force the show to be about how a host looks….I thought it was supposed to be about the product.

When this happens, though…..I usually choose to change the channel.

Now a different question……I purchased several of the Today’s Special on the Christmas in July day. Orders are obviously coming through at different times (backorder stuff…blah blah.) 3 boxes of the twigs say that they have been delivered last week, but I did not receive them. Any suggestions on how to handle UPS? I’ve received another couple of sets today with no problem.
Tried to file a claim with UPS but it stops me. (Weird postal issues here.) I know this isn’t an HSN problem as, again, I received part of my order today.
