I agree with you totally I usually never buy tops from any designers on HSN. This purchase turned out to be a huge mistake. I purchased several at 45.00 each and I will only get one wear out of all of them. I am thinking out just giving the ones I haven’t worn yet to good will at least they are new and never worn.
I will stick with purchasing jeans only from G by Guiliana that is usually the only thing that I purchase, and I always avoid the tops because in the past the few that I did purchase were a disappointing but none as bad as Skinnygirl.
I am a cotton girl all the way nothing beats cotton especially for the hot summer months. I usually shop J.Crew for tops, Anthopologie and different department stores because I like to purchase Petites. I personally rather pay more for an item and have it be of the highest quality than to purchase something cheap and have it fall apart.
I think Susan Graver makes quality clothes especially her pants and the prices are very reasonable also everything is made in America. She is my favorite designer out of anyone on a home shopping network.
My mother and grandmother were both seamstresses so the fact that a designer makes things in the USA means a lot to me. It is supporting workers in this country. Most other designers have everything made overseas because of greed they want a huge profit.
I do own a couple of real leather jackets from G by Giuliana that turned out to be a hit for me because they were cropped so they fit like a petite jacket but other than that I really stay away from most of the clothing and shoes.
As far as Skinnygirl goes I will Never purchase anything from her line again.
I am not a big fan of Bethenny Frankel to begin with but now I really do not like her at all.
How could you sell a 45.00 top that doesn’t hold up after one washing?
I hope HSN looks into it and stops selling such cheap defective merchandise. -
thank you!
