Captain and I are going to be out on the San Diego town for a while, event ends Sunday. So I have a lot of catching up to do … I’ll check in probably Tuesday. Hay ya Sheba … The Moon is Beautiful. Love words of Wisdom, Cherie totally agrees there’s “No Place Like Home” …. BUT if Cherie stays home …. There is NO Vacation. I just CAN’T be at the house and do “Nothing”. When I am home for more than 7 days … Captain is asking “When are you going back to work” … cause Cherie is putting together a list of changes for the house. So we just have to leave …. No matter what. Thanks for asking Sheba Dear but MOM is good, she is watching our house. You would think with no pets the house could be left alone …. BUT Cherie & Captain always have “pets”. So we feed the birds food & water, the kids LOVE to watch all the different birds come to eat and bath. We also have 5 hummer feeders so MOM is making sure our “Babies” are fed & watered …. Captain & Cherie just can’t give it up right … LOL. Captain & Cherie are playing “Walking Dead” trivia … Which “The Walking Dead” character is Tyreese’s sister?

Sheba … You know exactly “What the Doctor orders” …. thanks for that smoothie. Cherie ALWAYS has on hand smoothie cubes, the kids know they can have 2 in a cup, anytime they want. You are so right about “Sometimes” Mother nature is just “real”. Cherie is 5th generation in S. Cali and Captain is 3 … so we have been through a few and we are always Grateful for our Protection and Blessings. It’s going to take a while for me to settle my nerves … Cherie has a stiff-upper lip for kids and all to see but I need a few days to “defrag”. @kittengirl … Cherie Totally agrees .. I’m with you, hoping that ALL the talk is just “Talk”. Interesting observation about the ants…it’s very possible it was a “sign”. My MOM was pretty good at predicting earthquakes, 3.5 magnitudes and up. Our water was pumped up from a very deep well (it was delicious & pure), so when MOM turned on the faucet and it came out really warm she would say, “We may have a quake” … & we would. Hope the “putty” works out for you like it does for Cherie’s Lennox and Waterford. Sounds like family fun is in your future when your son comes “home” … Kitty Hugs…

Sheba … Cherie & Captain are exhausted, Glad we’re on “Vacation”. We made it safely back to San Diego and kids & MIL are fine. MOM is O.K., She says she remembers HER Mom talking about the The KERN Quake, July 21st 1952. The Kern quake was a 7.3 and it left 12 dead, hundreds injured, and massive structural damage. My MOM’s Mom remembers having to clean up the mess caused by the quake, ALL the broken glass & dishes. So, 67 years ago to the month … S. Cali is rocked by a 7.1 … So yes, You are right, nothing to be take lightly, we are thankful. So true … When we had pets … even fish, they would act out a day or so before a quake, so we learned to pay attention to our pets. Thankfully Captain has it ALL covered, everything & I mean EVERYTHING (bookshelves, hutches & so on) is latched to the studs in the walls, he’s Cherie’s HERO. We remember those days well when we had pets and they would know…sometimes we caught it, mostly it “hit” us after the fact that they were “acting” out. @bichon18 … Thank You for your prayers and well wishes. The kids are good, they “follow” our reaction to these things. Captain & I remain calm and we have talked about what the kids need to do. It is sooo cute to see them under the table, a doorway, or sitting in the hall away from glass during a quake. Too, they know & participate in our “Preparedness Plan”. Have a Good One … Amy.

Ahhhh Sheba …. 1st These Earthquakes are making me a “Dizzy” scatter-brain! I’m missing Special events and there are sooo many this month in the Community … Please forgive Cherie. Yes, Yes another Quake … This one we felt way …. down in Sunny La Jolla San Diego!! We checked our home cameras chandelier really moving and still nothing “looks” damaged. Cherie and Captain HAD TO COME HOME … Kids with MIL. Some things knocked over outside, nothing expensive broken cause Cherie “glues” everything down. House and pool intact … Thank God. We will leave in the morning to save Grandma …. My MOM is pretty shook up. Waving Lots of Birthday Wishes & LOVE to You & Your Family celebrating in July. Hi ya Sheba …. Yes another Perfect 4th. Captain’s cooking is Always a hit. This is EXACTLY why Captain turns off the gas & water. Here in this part of San Diego all we felt was like rolling, it kind of make you feel like your having a “Dizzy” spell. We have cameras inside and out, so we viewed the living room and the Chandelier was Totally swaying for some time. Nothing appeared to “fall over”, Thankfully nothing we haven’t been through before. Great words and Gallery, Cherie is a little “dizzy” but still waving Sheba♥ …. Take care ALL.

Well Sheba cant believe the close of another day. Kids had a blast and we ended the day with cookeding marshmallows by the Bay. Well, Thank God we made it Sheba! We rolled in about 1 p.m., after unpacking, first thing kids wanted to do was the water. So we went to Mission Bay Yacht Club for a bit and the kids could run wild and get wet. Oh and how could I forget, let them get TIRED!!
