Zwilling JA Henkel knife sets
Buyer Beware!!! The today’s special is the Zwilling Henkel knife sets. They are made either in India or China, NOT in Germany as the hosts are saying. The word “zwilling” in German means twins. So on each genuine Zwilling knife there is a logo of two stick figures together next to the name. But on the knife sets being sold by HSN, there is a single figure holding what looks like a staff. It will also say Made in India or Made in China. I read the 26 pages of customer reviews and many said the knives were rusting! Some said they were getting cut by the blades where the blade meets the handle. All you need to do is go to the Zwilling JA Henkel website and you will see the difference. The German-made knives are by Zwilling and are premium quality, thus the high price. The Asian-made knives are Henkel. Both companies were originally one, but have been divided into two now, so the quality of the Henkel knives are not premium, but a more affordable price point.

Thank you for taking the time to write out all this information. I wasn’t going to buy these but I read in a review as well what this set really is. I had no idea. To me HSN is being misleading. They have the twin logo on the main page, which would indicate the real deal from Germany, but not the case and made in India printed all over each knife. Wow. It’s up to buyers to really research things like this. Good information. Thank you.
