Wolfgang's new Bread Maker – 10/19/20
Since store bought bread has preservatives, what is the shelf life of the bread made in this bread maker – if not kept in freezer? As I’m one person, I’d like to determine if it pays to make or buy my bread since shelf life is important to me.

I forgot to mention that some of the markets do carry bread without preservatives and also without corn starch and corn syrup. Since I have a food allergy, I do need to read all labels on all food items (includes meat, fish lamb, etc). I also use Almond flour instead of white. You will also need the labels on the ready to make mixes to make sure there isn’t anything thrown in as a preservative.

You can leave the bread out until it cools and then put it in your refrigerator. I do not use the freezer for this as you are reheating the bread in order to cut enough for a slice or two. Depending upon your refrigerator, the bread lasts about a week or more. Nothing like the taste of homemade bread right out of your oven or in this case a breadmaker.
