Tupperware
I just looked at the details for the Today’s Special. I’m surprised it says Tupperware is not for use in the freezer. I knew it was not microwave-safe.

FYI, I just saw a bunch of Tupperware bowls at HomeGoods.

Tupperware is a fun vintage look in the kitchen, but I hesitate to purchase it. Plastic containers are difficult to clean if certain kinds of foods are put into them such as oily tomato sauces. I think the lettuce keeper would be useful and for dry goods Tupperware would work great. As far as the live Tupperware party goes, I think it would have been nice if HSN had given everyone who attended a free gift rather than just the ones who won a drawing. Some of those people drove a long way to be there. As far as health reasons go regarding plastic, I try to curb it when I can, but I think some of the “dangers” of using it are overblown.

Lettuce keeper? Uh-oh. I could use that.

Some Tupperware is rated for the freezer, some is not. Look for the snowflake symbol on the bottom.
Some Tupperware can be used in the microwave, some cannot. Some Tupperware is BPA-free, some is not. Be wary of the older items.
I like the collection with the fluted top, but I don’t need any more.
Did y’all know there are microplastics in chewing gum?
The discussion about plastics always makes me think of the film, “The Graduate”: “There’s a great future in plastics. Think about it.” -
I think it is ridiculous most people are trying to use less and less plastic because medical studies have shown our bodies and brain have a lot of plastic from consuming so many products that are in plastic. I can’t seem to get away from it all together, but I have switched from packing my husbands, lunches in glass containers with only plastic lids so when he heats it up, he doesn’t use the lid. I also am purchasing most of my Spring water in bottles not plastic.
I haven’t stopped purchasing everything in plastic, but I am surely not going to purchase Tupperware to store my food in plastic.
