Ninja Creami
HSN has the Ninja rep in studio and the entire time was wasted on Shannon telling us how many colors are left. Only one actual presentation of how the machine actually works was shown the last 3 mins of the show.

I’m glad I bought the Creami but it doesn’t work for me like they demonstrated. I run first time per instructions. Then take out couple spoon fulls; add some fruit, etc, then run again on “mix in” or “respin”. Then mix spoon fulls back in (need to use a bowl).
My problem with mine is that the blade doesn’t pull ice cream completely from sides or even the bottom. Literally HAVE to mix all in bowl. Called customer service 3X. They tried but weren’t any help. Sent another mixer blade but didn’t help. Gotten use to the running repeatedly, you still have ice cream in 2-4 minutes. Just hate the presentation makes it look so simple. As to recipes, use any recipe you would use to make ice cream you like. Just keep quantity to level shown on container. I make 3 or more at same time and just use milk, sugar and vanilla, then add chocolate, fruit, etc as mix in. For 3 containers I warm 3 cups milk in large measuring cup. Add I cup sugar (1/3 c per container) and 1 tsp vanilla. Blend well and divide equally into 3 containers. Finish adding milk up to line. Tastes like snow cream (remember back in the day!) or add your favorite after first run. My only problem is presentation misleading- but nothing new there

So I’ve made some more “ice cream”. Although the machine works well and is well-thought out, you can’t really make any kind of healthy ice cream you want. Recipes call for lots of sugar, cream cheese, corn syrup, and things I don’t want. And the “ice cream” must be eaten as you make it. If you put it back into the freezer, it becomes a hardened product that needs to be remixed. Sending it back. Too bad.

you dont have to eat it in the same day you make it. you can leave it out to let soften then scoop some into a bowl. watch the vedio” the one with BIG MOUTH DRAMA QWEEN in it, watch it. but just relax.

no true. the lady who does the presentation showed can of pineapple right into the pint juice inclouded right into freezer after 24 hours nice sorbey. i did it then i added coconut flakes and it came out fine. i then bougjt yogurt just four store 6 or 8 ounce yogurt cups fills the pint. thst came out good. then chocolate icecream ” one third cup of milk, half& half & heavy cream & chocolate syrup, stired it then in my freezer, the next day i had home mad real icecream. you dont have to go by ninjas recipes. go on line just typy in what you want to make. theres millions of easy recipes for you on line. if you like vanilla just one third cup of milk, one third cup of half& half and one third cup heavy cream and a tea spoon of vinilla extract and a little sugar if you want. pour it all in the pint put the lid on and freez it. you have home made icecream. if you like pineapple, just pour it in freez it, the day put it in the ninja and you have sorbet.

So I’ve been wanting an ice cream maker for many years, but the existing ones were too complicated, needing ice, salt, freeze the bucket first and so on. When I saw the Creami presentation, it looked easy enough, and when I got it home and tried it, it sure was easy.
I made 3 pints of ice cream in about 20 minutes (after freezing the ingredients). The ice cream was a little soft, but I just made them from kefir and fruit, so maybe tomorrow I’ll look at the recipe book and try their recipes to see if there’s a difference.
Be careful when handling the blade. It’s EXTREMELY SHARP.
The process of putting the parts together takes very little time. I had a little trouble with the lid the first two times but once I got it got it, it was super easy. It’s well-made and well-thought out.
