Emeril
Seriously, $70.00 for a cake?!

The Curtis Stone items are also from Rastelli. Rastelli is a good brand — also sold on Costco.com — so it’s not a big deal to me. It’s just licensing. Do you really think Martha Stewart makes all of the items that carry her name?

Thank you for the info regarding Curtis Stone, will keep that in mind
It may not be a big deal to you but I’d prefer transparency from HSN. If it’s just licensing and Emeril Lagasse, Martha Stewart, etc, are simply adding their names to boost sales, why not say so ? I’m not knocking the Rastelli brand but if I wanted to purchase their products, I would have. Not to mention, that the current price of the Rastelli breaded chicken cutlets on QVC is less expensive than what I paid for the “Emeril Lagasse” Rastelli chicken and the configuration offers 25% more ( 4 more cutlets in the package )
Same for the “Emeril Lagasse” David’s Cookies banana cake my cousin ordered. If she knew she was purchasing a David’s Cookies product with Emeril simply doing the salespitch, she never would’ve ordered because David’s Cookies products tend to be way too sugary / sweet
Perhaps this only happens with the food products because I’ve been a satisfied customer with HSN for over 25 yrs, never had an issue like this before. It would be comparable to ordering a Denise Austin sneaker sold by HSN, only to find Skechers from QVC in the box. I wouldn’t expect Denise Austin herself to make the sneakers bearing her name BUT I also wouldn’t want Skechers delivered to me if I did not purchase Skechers. Same with Martha Stewart whose products I have purchased before. I did not expect her to have made all the items carrying her name BUT again, it would be wrong to find a Valerie Parr Hill item ( from QVC ) in its place, especially if one is not a fan of Valerie PH
HSN bears the responsibility to be transparent with their customers. Celebrities endorse items, we know that, but if a celebrity such as Emeril is endorsing companies such as Rastellis / David’s Cookies … that needs to be mentioned at the time of ordering

Curtis Stone will have Wagyu burgers on HSN. Rastelli had Wagyu burgers on QVC on 4/27. Both are 5.3 ounces. The Rastelli TSV was 14 or 28, Curtis Stone will be 10 or 20. I guess they figure HSN customers don’t eat as much? 🙂
QVC and HSN frequently have similar TSV/TS offerings within a couple of weeks. They think we don’t notice.

Correction, looks like the Curtis TS will be 12 or 24.

Hi @stuffin, I am so very sorry, that sounds like a really frustrating experience. We absolutely want you to trust the products we offer, and it’s upsetting to hear that you feel mislead and received the chicken in poor condition. This is defiantly not the HSN experience we aim to provide. Could you please send us an email with your order number at HSNSocialCare@hsn.com? We’d like to help look into this situation right away for you.

I don’t trust the entire Emeril line of products. Not only are the prices very high, I and some other customers have recently been tricked. I had a coupon that was expiring, so I splurged on the breaded chicken breast patties. Was angry when they arrived in poor condition ( all defrosted ) but to top it off, the delivery was from Rastelli Brothers which is from QVC
Speaking of that $70 cake, I have a friend who splurges sometimes so she bought the Emeril banana cake for Easter and she had the same scam done to her. The cake delivery was from David’s Cookies which is also from QVC
Emeril’s line seems to be something just his name is promoting, since the actual products are from other companies which is false advertising. I will never purchase food from HSN nor QVC ever again due to this deception
