Curtis Stone cookware
I am disappointed in the quality of Curtis Stone cookware. I have had my cookware for over 3 years plus. They say they are dishwasher safe but they are not. I put a few of my pots in the dishwasher and they came out bent like they melted a little. I love the non stick but pans should not bend like this just being in the dishwasher.

We have had our Curtis Stone cookware for 3-4 years, give or take. We liked the pans, and had no issues with the pots, until we took a closer look at wat was happening, likely a result of them being put into our dishwasher. The pots are losing all their color, and we never worried about it because it is the outside of the pots. The inside never got damaged. Then, just this week, the metal ring that is on the bottom of each pot and pan came off of one of the pots. Obviously it cannot be put back on. The pot can no longer be used.
It should be noted that we use the pots and pans on an electric glass cooktop, so a flame has never hit any of these pots and pans. IMHO, the quality of these pots and pans is poor. I thought they advertised them as having a lifetime warranty, and Curtis Stone Cookware says the warranty was one year. Shame on HSN for misrepresenting the warranty.
Think twice before buying anything from HSN being sold with a warranty.

I Love. Curtis Stone’s products that I got rid of all my old stuff. I have been very happy with what I purchased, but amazed and over the moon with my 4 qt pot, it is black with the gold tone handles and top knot handle on top. Looks beautiful. But the story is today I decided to boil a pot of med. size potatoes, put it on the stove and set it to boil a few moments. You know the story. I got involved with the mail when I realized I better check the stove……there was no longer any water in the pot the potatoes were stuck to bottom…turned of stove, Grabbed my mit, Dragged the pot off the burner, found my other mit and moved pot to sink. I was sure I had ruined my pot. Put water in the pot, potato’s came right out with parched skin only, but the best
News. The pot suffered NO PERMANENT HARM, INSIDE OR OUT! I couldn’t believe my eyes, just like CURTIS SHOWS, ONE WIPE ON INSIDE IT WAS CLEAN, AND NO MARKS ON BOTTOM OF POT.THANK YOU MR. STONE FOR A FIRST CLASS PRODUCT.

Is there a reason why Curtis stone cookware sets aren’t sold on HSN.? The only one I see is in the red color. Did he stop making them?

The reason could be that the other colors sold out.

TS curtis stone electric fry pan. Sheesh, noticed on grilled cheese sandwiches that the heat coil is only in the center of the pan, taking time to turn to brown evenly. Seems all are using cost cutting techniques now. Miss my old one that heated all the way to the end. So wanted a large fry pan, but wondering if anyone has found a brand that they dont skimp on heat coil & pan cooks all the way to the edges. Those with wee coils I have learned food must be stirred often so as not to burn in center. Anyone know of any brand???? Thanks

I never put any type of pan in the dishwasher. I always tend to use it and it takes up too much room in the dishwasher.

Hi dmh. I learned a lesson the hard way, like you. Consequently, I do not put any non-stick pots and pans into the dishwasher unless it is stipulated at the bottom . Even stainless can get pit marks. Dishwashers runs the hot water higher than your tap. Also, dishes that are antiques should be washed by hand as well.
